We had been looking for a last minute beach shack not too far from the airport and stumbled across this little gem. What it lacks in style and services, it more than makes up for in simplicity and and a quiet calm that few places manage. It's not a hotel, you will have to sweep your own floors, but we prefer to cook for ourselves and loved the BBQ with a view in our little garden.

There is little you need to do apart from wandering down to the beach and back for lunch, then watch the little ones in the playground or pool over a spritz. Your beach umbrella is yours for the week, so we didn't have to lug our beach toys up the hill each day. This was a revelation! It's not the best beach in the area (tough competition with Brandinchi nearby), but we loved it. Never crowded, shallow clear water and no waves - perfect for our little one. It became quite social among the residents down there, everybody would sit and chat (as best we could).

If you want to eat out there are many options within a 5/15 min drive - Blue Bar was our favourite, the views are lovely and the piazza is fun for kids. Salinedda's on site restaurant is good, but you need to book well in advance as they only offer one sitting per table and some guests are on half board. It's a bit 'fine dining' for the bungalow crowd. Not cheap, especially with children. We offered to eat quickly at 7.30 pm but they weren't interested and would only offer us a table at 10 pm. With a 3 year old.

We had a one bedroom (two room) bungalow with a partial sea view.
It, like a lot of the complex, was a bit tired and could do with a minor refurb. That said, we never ran out of hot water, the air con worked, we had enough storage and it felt like a little corner of paradise. Management seems to take on board a lot of the comments here - we had a kettle, basic supplies etc unlike some reviews.

We would definitely return.

The beach with reserved lounger and snack bar.
The view from our garden with BBQ
Normal-ish sized fridge freezer for our gelato!
Play area for kids.
Peace and quiet.
Friendly environment, both staff and guests.
Close to Olbia and San Teodoro if you want more excitement.
Close to some amazing beaches.
Plenty of mini markets in the area - just off the main road to Olbia.

A little run down over all.
Portapotty is the only toilet at the beach.
Pool area is a bit tired.
Restaurant doesn't work for clientele not on half board, kids food is expensive.
A change of linens or towels mid week would have been nice. This may be a bookable extra? Our bath towels needed washing half way through, but the laundry area is free to use.
We would have loved some doormats. We were using hand towels to wipe our feet on after the sandy walk up from the beach. Even using the foot shower twice, we carried a tonne of sand indoors each day. Lots of sweeping!

Room tip: Go for a sea/bay view.

A weeks holiday booked to get away from a bad year with family health taking its toll on us. Hoping for something simple but nice, well what a disappointment:(.

Arrived at night, no path lights so luckily had our phones to see how to get to the apartment. What a shock !! Dark, cold and damp smelling.

Hoping a good nights sleep would make a difference although was not to be the case. Open the doors onto the garden only to find lots of weeds,no grass just dust and v tired garden furniture.

Mini market is a joke unless u need coffee, and restaurant only open in the evening.

The restaurant is hugely over priced but the two staff are so friendly and the absolute best part of this horrible week away.

Don’t even bother with the private beach, sewage lines and the smell is just awful. Beach furniture that has not been looked at in years although it is quiet.

Having relooked at all the photos from website realise they are over 4 years old. The place is now rundown and a waste of money, never been so pleased to spend our last full day at the airport. We chose to do instead of stay even another hour than we had to in the apt. Was the best day of the holiday.

My husband and I travel extensively and understand you get what you pay for, but this was horrible after sleeping in damp accommodation left with an ear infection and feeling more run down than when arrived.

We had a wonderful time. Thoroughly recommended. Great location - 30 mins from Olbia airport and easy to get around the rest of the Island. Loved the beach. Free reserved beach furniture as part of your stay. Crystal clear water and a charming walk to the beach from apartments to the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly too.

Great location and lots of things on the plus side. The one bedroom bungalow was very roomy and great views. The allocated beds and umbrella on your own section of the beach was great. The beach was not the best in the area by far but water was crystal clear and only 5 mins walk from our accommodation. The bar on the beach did a very generous gin and tonic. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only 25mins drive from olbia airport. Free air con too.
So why not 5 stars? Only minor things but Wifi was only available near and I mean very near the bar. We had to ask for a change of sheets and towels after we had been there a week. Kitchenette was basic but a kettle would have been helpful. Finally you really do need a car to get to restaurants and supermarkets but we had anticipated this. Overall we would recommend as really good value for money and an excellent location

Room tip: Ask for a bungalow overlooking the beach

I was there on a wonderful vacation with my two daughters and the room was fantastic. We also went sailing for a day and to a piano concert at night in a monastery. The night life goes on most of the night so there is plenty to do. A bit touristy like most Italian resort areas.
