Although the restaurant is situated slightly outside the historic centre of Otranto, it was packed with people meaning the food has to be good! And it was. Excelent food and service with fair prices. Highly recommendable!

Otranto isn't full of great places to eat... There's one or two Fine Dining spots, like "L'altroBaffo" of Cristina Conte. But a decent and easy restaurant where to have a simple pizza, some yummy fried meatballs and a salad or a simple plate of fresh fish, prepared in a classic and tasty way, was missing - so far. Thanks to Giuseppe and his colleagues, a couple of locals who have been travelling a lot before settling down in their home land to finally stay, there's no more need. The restaurant's location, just a few meters from the storic center towards the harbor, is marvellous. There's heaps of Aperitivo places around where to have the obligatory Spritz before dinner. Don't miss a chat with the owner&sailor Giuseppe who has plenty of stories to tell from his ways across the oceans.

I love the food in this restaurant: typical Salento food with an international twist. I have enjoyed this restaurant a number of times during my stay in Otranto.
Starters are well presented and varied. Linguine with seafood heavenly, raw fish incredible. If you want to have just a pizza, this is also very good and light.
Going for lunch also has a lot of charm. You will sit in the outside terrace from where you can look at a typical dry stone wall with the castle just behind and a corner of the sea just to remind you that you are on holiday. The staff is caring but not intrusive, the service quick but not rushed and the price adequate. Well done
