Although the place looks spectacular (luxurious, beautiful seaside view, nice garden, in the middle of nowhere) we were pretty disappointed overall when staying here for dinner. We were seated apart in a room without any views and the food was mediocre at best.

Staff seemed totally disinterested in us as a resident at the Masseria. They put us in a cave room which smelt fusty and very humid. We had to ask for the aircon to be turned down. There was a noisy children's party, which took over the pool, followed by an 18th party with disco and then turned off the premises the next afternoon as there was a wedding. We emailed the director as he was offsite when we asked to speak to him, and still have had no response. We had changed our previous hotel as they kindly advised us there was going to be a wedding and possibly noisy, but Santa Teresa did nothing of the sort. Wouldmnt return as they obviously do not care for their customers.

We were just here in July 2017. Had a suite which is above the reception with a huge terrace , very good for when the had a wedding and a birthday party as we were not disturbed by the noise at all , this room was an upgrade as my wife had mentioned it was a big birthday for me. The pool area is great and very welcome with daytime temperatures of 40 degree. We ate in the restaurant for either lunch or dinner and every meal we had was very authentic and tasty ,typical simple Italian cooking. The bar service was a bit hit and miss as they don't seem to have a dedicated bartender , but then again sometimes we were the only people there so no point in having someone stood around. The only downside to this place is that its 25 euros each way into Monopoli in a cab so if you fancy a few drinks at dinner then the price of the night out is a bit heavy. We will however go again and tag maybe three nights onto the end of another Southern Italy tour as its just such a relaxing place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the pool will be noisier if there is a wedding or a party

We stayed for one night during an off seasone vacation in south Italy. The place is amazingly decorated with very high class facilities and beautifull location on a hill covered with acient olive trees.
The room was wide & very elegant.
The stuff were attentive and helpful regarding the fact that we were the only guests.
The breakfast was disappointing for such a high class messaria: there was nothing fresh besides a kiwi… no cheese/eggs/fresh bread. They did have a gluten free options that were helpful.
Besides that some facilities were missing in the bathroom like a shelf in the shower for the shampoo. Although the water are only warm but not hot. When it's 4°c outside it's not enough…
Still we recommend warmly to visit & stay.

We stayed here in September for one night and whilst the setting and building is excellent, the place is looking tired. I visited here about 5 years ago and it seemed new vibrant and the staff we really helpful

We did not find that on this occasion which is a real shame. I hope they spend a bit of time and money getting it back to what it was.
