We stayed at this wonderful property in September this year. We also received a warm welcome from the owner and his daughter and met the whole family on arrival. As there were 3 of us we had 2 rooms each with their own private outside area. The grounds are lovely with lots of olive trees, fig trees etc.
Breakfast was superb, everything you needed.
Cisternino is a lovely little town with a variety of nice restaurants but not too touristy.

We had a warm welcome from the owner to this tranquil rustic setting. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the pool is lovely and in a gorgeous garden setting. Cisternino is a short walk away. Be sure to follow the owners excellent recommendations as to eating and drinking. The breakfast is lavish, fresh and delicious.
A superb place to stay!
My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this place and were delighted. We had a lot of space because we had 2 rooms . The houses are located in the middle of fields of olive trees and we could easily walk around. We enjoyed the quietness of the place compared with the touristic villages not far away and we could easily reach Cisternino by car.
The owner welcomed us hearfully and gave us detailed information about sightseeing, restaurants...The breakfast was delicious with homemade recipes he even dictated to me very friendly .
Last night we stayed in Trullo Sovrano B & B. It is located outside of Cisternos. The grounds are beautiful. It is a quiet and restful atmosphere and has a lovely pool. The rooms were clean and cozy. The owner is a great resource for things to do in the area. The breakfast spread was truly amazing; homemade foccaica and apple cake, cheeses, yogurt and wonderful fresh fruit. We only wish we would have planned our trip to stay in this amazing place longer.
Trullo Sovrano is about 1km outside the pretty town of Cisternino. It's a delightful, peaceful spot; lovely accommodation in beautifully maintained grounds and an excellent breakfast prepared by the owner.
You could simply while away your time on the terrace or by the pool but there is much to explore on foot, on bike, by car or by the local train service. Don't miss the beautiful town of Locorotondo just 10km away.
If travelling by public transport be warned that the FSE train services to Cisternino Citta don't run on Sundays and that there is no ticket office at the Trenitialia station for Cisternino so you have to buy your tickets on line. That latter station is several kilometres away from the town but great for connections to the rest of Italy.

We have just returned from a week at this lovely B&B which was about a 5 min drive from Cisternino a delightful little town. It was spotlessly clean and we had a charming room and terrace Olivio overlooking the fruit and olive trees. The pool was always pristine and there was a nice terrace area around it. Michael the owner is passionate about what he does. He greeted us and provided us with lots of information on the area, places to visit and recommendations for local restaurants. He was always available and did all he could to ensure we got the most out of our stay.
