“Perfectly cute and quaint winemakers' cottage”
Reviewed 19 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Set over three floors, the cottage is well appointed and the owners seem to have thought of everything. It is excellently furnished, and composed of a number of period features that enhance the overall experience.

Peace and quite is what this rental offers, and it's suitable for those who seek an independent and autonomous experience. That said, the owners are very friendly and no imposition seems too much.

Lots of information is provided to assist an enjoyable experience of the area. Many nice beaches are within a 45 minute drive, and there are plenty of rustic towns and villages nearby.

In summary, it is exactly as the pictures and 5* recommendations suggest. My partner and I would happily stay again.

“Simply Stunning”
Reviewed 29 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

It is located in small, rural town in the southern France, in proximity of Mediterranean and Pyrenees. That allows you to range your trips from Catalonia, to Toulouse, to Riviera, but will require transportation and some will to travel. In the sense I have chosen Masoin de Fleurs because it let me combine almost flat courses next to sea and more demanding low mountains climbs, and add more kilometres on good roads to my bicycle trip, yet November, as the time frame was quite average choice. In general late autumn in France is considered low season, but it does not diminish quality of Corbieres, regional, wine and vivid taste of local cuisine. Property situated in centre of the small town gives you feeling of security and belonging, the set up of cottager of impeccable, thought to the last detail, offering all needed comfort and respite. Most highly recommended.

Liked best: Feel and touch, property is neatly set and maintained; it gives great impression and makes you feel part of local comumity.
Liked least: Weather, as you can imagine November seems to be a bet less a pleasing month.

I was so surprised to see the guest arrive on a bicycle as he hadn't mentioned his transport, in fact he had ridden all the way from Paris and said he had enjoyed every minute. I am so pleased he likes the area - it is a favourite place for cyclists - and that the cottage was a comfortable base for him.

It's lovely to hear that guests enjoyed the cottage and location so much. The weather has been lovely all Autumn, so that helped make their holiday even more special, but they also appreciated all they saw and really seemed to love France as much as we do. We look forward to welcoming them back.

“Lovely stay in Thezan”

Accommodation was as described - clean, well appointed, cosy and ideal for two - the owners were very welcoming helpful.
Thezan is a great location for easy driving to the coast and lovely villages. The local people were welcoming too.
With a boulangerie across the street so easy to eat out for breakfast!
Only negative in this artisans cottage is the downstairs toilet but as we are pretty mobile 60 year olds we got used to that very quickly and all was fine - not ideal though if you are less mobile as the stairs might be a challenge.

We can unreservedly recommend this as a perfect place for a couple to stay in the area.
