My husband and I stayed at Lionheart over MLK weekend and will definitely stay there again! The Far East room was lovely and I enjoyed the luxurious bathtub and access to the hot tub. We were the only ones staying there, since the winter season is quiet, so I can't vouch for the noise level during peak times, but the food was great and Doug had great advice on local hikes. Plus, he really helped us out when we encountered car issues - really above and beyond service! Thanks so much for a lovely weekend, Lionheart!

Room Tip: Far East is on the end, so it would have the least noise.

Lionheart Guest House and B & B- welcoming, relaxing, a slice of Heaven, wonderful inn keepers who have thought of everything to make our stay great, a quick drive from Tobermory. Loved the Guest House with beautiful gardens. Better than staying in Tobermory!!!

We loved our stay in the Central Africa Room. Brilliant location for exploring both Lionshead and Tobermory. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future if we are ever back in that part of the world. Doug a genuinely lovely bloke. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a base to explore the area. Clean, tidy and friendly. Fab breakfasts too! (Lionshead itself is a beautiful spot - would recommend checking out the lighthouse and harbour.)

Lion heart guest house is one of this places you'r falling in love with from the moment you arrive. The property itself is beautiful, from the outside and from the inside. the guest house is a very ancient house, more than 100 years old, very homey and warm. there's a gorgeous living room and a completely equipped kitchen with anything you can imagine. everything is super clean!!!
The owners are a lovely couple, Doug and Marlene, were so nice and warm. Doug gave us some great recommendation for hiking to the Grotto and it was the best thing we had in our all Ontario trip. He gave us some maps and explained everything with so much patient. Unfortunately we could stay only 2 nights but we definitely would recommend it and would love to comeback! Thank you Doug and Marlen for everything and we are looking forward to your visit in Israel!

Room Tip: we stayed at room number 1 in the guest house which is the only private room in there!

Stayed here for a week to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Stayed in the West Indies room which was quite spacious as it was handicapped accessible. The room, bathroom and eating area were very clean. Doug and Marlene Hill own and run the place in a laid back, but very accommodating manner. Both made us feel welcome and part of the family. They made sure to ask us about our food likes/dislikes and allergies. We took their daughter's dog, Nayma, a half Lab and half Bernese Mountain dog, for a hike. Have to say, loved the dog as much as we loved Doug and Marlene. The guesthouse is central to everything - close to restaurants, the grocery store, gift shops, and the beach. The only drawback was that our room was downstairs and near the breakfast area, and so it would get a little noisy around 7AM, but that served as our alarm clock. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Doug and Marlene!

Room Tip: The room where we stayed was in a shaded area which was a blessing during the hot summer days.
