This is a hotel residence in a convenient location in Le Gosier. Our first two days were uneventful and pleasant. The hotel is located across from the ocean and has a spectacular view. On the third day however we had no water. Little did we know that the water on Guadalupe is shut off based on a schedule every 7 or 8 days for about 18 hours. It would have been nice to know this. Also, when the water was turned back on, our toilet began to leak. In addition, the batteries in our air conditioner remote ceased to work after the first day. Because the staff were on vacation during the week we were there, there was no one to help us. We made the best of the situation, but I would not likely go back to this hotel. We did not realize there would be no towel service or any other supplies such as toilet paper. We utilized the nearby tourism office to find a grocery store. And we only found the tourism office by accident! Richard and Levea of the tourism office were so very helpful.
That said, the room was comfortable, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. I loved the area and the local people were so friendly. We typically like to use more local accommodations rather than big touristy resorts. When you do, you have to expect some problems.
