This two-star hotel offers very clean, tidy rooms with good air conditioning, comfy beds, and bathrooms with small shower, but adequately furnished. We were on a budget so this hotel at 60 euros/night is affordable. The breakfast is 3 euros extra but worth it just to have extra cups of coffee in the morning. Though it was a bit disconcerting when when we would go out in the hallway or down the stairs having to wait a moment for the motion detector to turn on the lights. Yet, the staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly even if they didn't speak much English. We were lucky to have a Spanish teacher as part of our party of six.
Now for the down side. There is no private hotel parking or pay garage nearby. So we had to park our van out on the street. For us, that turned out to be one of our worst experiences of our 14 day trip. We looked for no parking signs yet somehow parked in the space in front of someone's garage (which didn't look like any garage but yes there was a door that opened even though the door was flush with the outside wall) and our van was towed by the local police. The next morning we couldn't find our van and thought it stolen. On the sidewalk below where our van had been parked was a bright lime green tow ticket with a phone number. Now, we were glad to have found our van. And we were also glad one of our party spoke fluent Spanish or this experience would have been acutely stressful versus extremely stressful as it was. The hotel staff was very helpful in starting us walking in the right direction of the municipal police department. Warning: Don't park in a towaway space or you too will pay a 100 euro fine.
