Sport hotel Vittoria is a family owned hotel with lots of atmosphere and very well situated in the village (ski rentals, lifts and tourist office/stores just nearby). The rooms are clean and spacious with just the right balance of elegance without being luxurious - which I personally prefer. A bit more noise insulated doors to block out sounds from the corridor, would be nice - but not a real problem, as most are soundly asleep around 10 pm. The half-board package is to be recommended. The kitchen and staff are serving a variety of local Südtirol inspired dishes and the sallad/cold-cut buffet each evening is a treat. Breakfast buffet is very nice, but a lot of sweets, as the Italians like it - I'd prefer a better assortment of müslis and whole grain breads over pancakes and waffels and the like - but I realize I'm in minority in this regard. The service is good, but not excellent, appropriate for the price level and profile.
The real jewel in the crown is the spa section, which is very good and kept clean and fresh, with a large variety of different saunas and pools/showers. As the hotel is a family hotel primarily, it's quite nice that the age limit of 16 years is applied to preserve tranquility - however, it would be recommended for the management to create something also for the kids from 10-15 years, who may not appreciate the "kids" pool.
Passo Tonale is a great winter resort (I've not visited during summer) as it provides plenty of experience both for the beginner to the seasoned touring skier and free-ride enthusiasts (you'll need a guide, but all off-piste tracks are easily accessible). The village is primarily occupied by families, so if you are looking for a great night life - Passo Tonale is not for you. Hence, I can strongly recommend the half-board alternative as restaurants are scarce.
All in all - a perfect stay for the family or group/couple that are primarily interested in the skiing, rather than the night life. If that description fits you, Sport Hotel Vittoria is the place to stay in Passo Tonale!

We had an amazing time, It was a very busy week ( carnevale ) we used the junior suite at the fourth floor, facing the slopes. The evening dinners were deliciuos. thanks Elena
Kids club stuff helpful, thank you Ornella
Amazing spa, just upgraded,
The hotel is just in front of the slopes, perfect when you have kids.
The bar in the hotel is very friendly and cosy, in the evening the hotel owner works there: Lino is always happy to share information and local stories.
Can t wait to be back
grazie

Room Tip: the room in front of the slopes are amazing, you can see your kids from your bedroom

This is my second skiing holiday to Passo Tonale but my first stay at Vittoria. I can not recommend it enough. It’s extremely clean, the staff are welcoming. The food is lovely and the spa is very big and entirely needed after a day on the slopes. I will definitely be returning. It’s a few minutes walk to the main slopes for skiing. The boot room with lockers is great as you use the outside stairs to access with your skies and boots and then the inside door back up into the hotel. If you want to be close to the slopes, bars and restaurants then this is the place to stay

We have stayed at the Sport Hotel Vittoria many times before, and it seems that a lot of other reviewers have also which says a lot about the place. We still find this hotel very difficult to fault and will be looking forward to returning next year! Communication before arrival is excellent, thorough, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are good, generously sized, well laid out and with good bathrooms/showers, plenty of storage space and comfortable beds. Service is very friendly, excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The food is good, there’s a great range of choices at breakfast from which even our fussy children managed to find something! When skiing we find breakfast so important so it’s great that the selection is there. Dinners are also good with a good first course where you help yourself from a wide selections of salads etc and this is followed by a decent choice of mains which are generally pretty good. The desserts are OK though probably the weakest part of the offering I would say. Location is great just across from the slopes and if there’s enough snow you can almost ski to the door! Overall an excellent and charming hotel with friendly staff and great service. If I had one criticism it would be the wifi which was poor, it was often difficult to get a signal, but maybe that was down to the location of our room….. and I can live without wifi, I was on holiday!

Dear Mr Mark,
thank you for your positive review. It has been very helpful for our work. We are very sorry for the wifi signal, unfortunately it's not our fault but it's because there is poor signal in all Passo Tonale. We will try to do our best to improve it.
We hope to see you again next year.

Best Regards

We stayed at Vittoria for a week during Christmas holidays.

The hotel is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and clean. We booked a comfort room on the second floor, it was quiet and the view to the snowy slopes was nice. The room has all the amenities, except for slippers, we bought slippers from the spa.

Staff is amazing, all smiley and eager to help. Especially the entertaining team Caecilia, Andrea and Fabiola. There is a playground for the kids, spa and swimming pools. There is one swimming pool for the kids and another for adults. Such a relaxing experience after ski. Also you can enjoy sauna, Turkish bath, hamam and jacuzzi included in the room price.

Dinner was good but there is room for improvement. Breakfast had a variety of products and even fresh carrot/apple/ginger juice.

The hotel also offers ski lockers and it’s 50 meters from the pistes.

Overall we had an amazing time, we will return!
