This hotel is a short and straightforward drive from Baia Sardinia, on the golfo di Arzachena, and set in lovely, green, quiet surroundings. It is very family friendly, with a nice swimming pool, where the kids' pool directly adjoins. The natural parasols and furniture are very solid, to withstand the Sardinian winds. There are tennis courts, petanque, and, about a 10 minute walk away, there is a natural beach (no facilities) with calm, shallow water, which is worth a visit. There are plenty of wonderful beaches from 5-15 minutes' drive away (you generally need to hire a car). I would advise you to ask the hotel staff about which ones might be most suitable for your needs and preferences, as there are too many to be able to visit them all. It's also easy to find good, family friendly restaurants if you want to eat outside of the hotel; again you do need a hire car for this. There's a kids' mini-club in the afternoons and evenings, with friendly staff.
In fact, all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant staff in particular are excellent.
The breakfast is varied and we found it more than adequate. Some people may (and did) take exception to it's relative simplicity, for example because not all the juices are not all 100% natural.
Our chalet-style rooms were comfortable, of adequate size and right next to the pool. I would love to go there again and I think it's the overall surroundings and peaceful ambience that clinches it for me. The location is convenient for all that the area has to offer. However, because sat navs do tend to get it wrong (thanks to whoever warned me about that in their review), it's best to ask the hotel for directions from Olbia. More
