We were walking along Lassi's main street wondering where to eat when we were greeted by Yiannis a waiter we knew from previous visits to Lassi. He had a new job in Ta Pithari, a taverna which in it's previous guise we would not have considered going into.
His welcome was so warm we decided to put prejudices aside and how glad we were. The food was delicious from the pasticio to the lamb chops.
It became our taverna of preference for the rest of our holiday.
