Returning after a few years away, Liberatos Village has maintained its high standard of accommodation and service.
The rooms are clean and spacious, the pool is excellent and the service from the poolside bar and snack restaurant provides everything you need for a relaxing day in the sunshine.
The location provides stunning views across the bay and a short walk down the hill, or very short taxi ride, takes you into the centre of Lassi with it's great selection of reasonably priced restaurants and bars.
The local beach is also a comfortable walking distance away.
In summary, a lovely place to stay.

We have just returned from a week at Liberatos Village, We arrived getting on for 2300 but were still greeted by the Village staff and shown to our apartment. We had a one bedroom apartment at the very top of the (steep) village, Dragging your case up the hill isn't for the faint hearted but it was well worth it for the view we enjoyed the following morning as we opened the shuttered doors to the balcony. Wow, clear blue sea, lush countryside, beautifully set out balcony's so you didn't feel over looked at all. The Apartment was clean and very modern, we had very comfortable beds with plenty of storage and power points. The bathroom actually had a bath and was nicely tiled and again very clean. The shower over the bath was powerful and the water as hot as you wanted it to be. We had a supply of towels.
The kitchen had a two ring hob and a oven/grill combi, with plenty of cutlery and plates etc. a kettle and a small saucepan. Take a tea towel. There was also a double sofa bed and plenty of occasional tables.
The pool/bar area was beautiful with stunning views, the music wasn't too loud and the staff friendly. We ate breakfast there the first day which was really nice, but after that just had drinks if we were using the pool. We went to their BBQ night and the food was good and plentiful.
Its was a steep walk down to Lassi and the beaches but only took 15 minutes down and about 30 going back up at a slow pace. The beaches were lovely and the restaurants, supermarket's were plentiful.
We walked to Argostoli, up and over the hill from our apartment and this took about 40 minutes but was a pleasant walk. We got the bus back at only 3Euro for the two of us.
We traveled with Olympic holidays and paid very little money, the only down side was the airline they use who let the side down rather, but I guess that's why it was so reasonably priced. As a couple this was a perfect last minute break, and we would return. If I had a young family or mobility issues I would hire a car.

Room tip: The higher up you are the better the view, but the longer the walk.

Located up steep hill and we did take taxis back to the complex not wanting to face the hill in the heat. However the views were tremendous, Accommodation was very basic as is a lot of Greece, however it was clean and we spent little time there, beds very hard and I don't see how a family could cook and eat in the apartment. Staff very friendly and pool area was clean and pleasant to sit around whilst taking in the views. Lassi a good base for exploring the island and the beach at Lassi was perfect. Nice eateries also serving authentic greek food and everyone friendly.

Room tip: Ask for ocean view - ground floor faces a hedge unless you are near the poo; complex

Liberatos village is clean but basic self catering but a good bar on site which sells snacks throughout the day which were good value for money. They have a barbeque on tuesdays which is very good (eat as much as you like) but beware of the cat it will try to get at your food you push it away and it will scratch it drew blood on my wifes hand and had to ring doctor she had to go and have a tetanus jab and anti biotics the animals dont carry rabbies there which we were worried about but do carry tetanus so beware of the cat.back to the appartments it is a very steep and long walk up a hill you need a car or be young and very fit we are both 60 +and we couldnt do it.

Room tip: Try to get a room near the pool and bar other wise it could be a long walk

Up in the hills of Lassi with a perfect view of the sunset from our balcony. Basic accommodation, but very comfortable and clean. Sitting round the pool with a drink, watching the sunset was an added bonus. Friendly staff and perfect location for visiting this beautiful island. Car is essential to see Kefalonia in its glory.
