Nice hotel facing the sea, the rooms were spotless ,bright and comfortable , near all the tavernas, could sit outside and watch the world go by, the staff is very friendly and it is a nice place to kick back and relax.
Ask for rooms facing the water from 101 to 106 or same on second floor.
The wifi is strong and free

Room tip: Rooms facing the sea from 101 to 106 and same on second floor

We stayed just one night on our way from Athens to the Pelion peninsula and picked this hotel at random. We really liked it and would have liked to stay a little longer.

We were given a room on the first floor at the front of the hotel with views out over the sea. The room was very spacious and the balcony was enormous. The bathroom was a little tired but clean and again, very big.

The area the hotel was in was very good and quite lively with plenty of restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. A little bit of road noise at night but well worth it for the view over the sea.

Parking was off road behind the hotel.

The staff were helpful and friendly

Room tip: Ask for a room with a sea view

I had organized a sea kayak trip starting from Kamena Vourla and decided to stay the night before the trip in this hotel. The staff were very friendly an helpful, the hotel was comfortable and extremely well located on the main sea front road but importantly was totally quite inside. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Violetta at the end of June, just for one night. It wasn't cheap - especially considering that Greece is in perpetual crisis and it was not yet high season - but we had a beautifully appointed room, spacious and nicely equipped. Our balcony looked out on to the little garden with nice topiary and to the sea beyond. The breakfast buffet was generous and of good quality. Our only real problem was that the air conditioning simply wasn't up to the job so we risked sleeping with the windows open, and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. I'm afraid that will put us off staying here again, and Kamena Vourla is one of our favourite little hideaways.
