We have been going to this hotel for 4 years and have just come home. The reason why we have returned year after year is because it is perfect for us. We knew this hotel was to be refurbished and we were absolutely delighted with the major changes they have made. The pool has been completely rebuilt including a Jacuzzi and new gradual steps into it, along with a number of built in loungers that are actually in the pool. There is an additional restaurant and the main restaurant has been altered substantially to cater for more guests. There always was a 7th floor but only accessed by a few steps after the lift stopped at 6. Now the 7th floor has 50 more rooms and the lift goes up to the 7th floor. The food is excellent as always and the staff are the friendliest people I have ever met. We are in our late 60's and join in the 3 games every morning every day. The afternoon ones are more active which rules us out.

I read a few reviews before we went and was absolutely gobsmacked to see a few negative ones. One said there was nothing for a 2 year old to do. There is in fact a totally rebuilt children's play pool with fountains of water, slides etc and a play park. Most hotels do not allow children under 4 into the kiddies club which is totally understandable. Another person wrote that there was only one street to do shopping, This is absolute rubbish, walk up the hill and you will find streets and streets of shops, night clubs, bars etc. I think I could go on but perhaps I have said enough. To summarise Suits all ages and we are going again next year

Room Tip: All the rooms have a sea view, some have brilliant sunshine most of the day and some don't. All rooms are brilliant, comfortable and airy

We booked this through our tui rep Barney and it was a fantastic day. All the jeep safari drivers and guides were so enthusiastic and keen to ensure everyone had a good day both children and adults. We were a couple but others were family groups and it really was a brilliant day trip. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for seven nights last week. On arrival was checked in quickly with no fuss. Room was lovely, great sea view on 2nd floor. very large room and clean. fresh towels every day if required and room was serviced daily. Staff were all great, not walking around with fixed cheesy grins but always happy to oblige requests with a smile. Food was fine, nothing amazing but plenty of it always a few choices if tending to cater for a more East European taste although I always found something to eat. Salad always looked lovely though im more of a frying pan man. Drinks were fine and strong enough. If you want top shelf drinks then pay top shelf prices at an expensive hotel. Overall this is a great hotel, pool was large with plenty of sundeds always available and literally on the beach.

Room Tip: be aware that this hotel has no lifts and has 4 floors.

Friendly, clean hotel which is right on the best part of the beach at Obzor. Small town has a village like feel to it but still has a few shops and bargains on offer.
On the plus side:
Helpful staff and efficient reception, very clean, pool towels are provided, good sized pool, on the beach, well tended gardens, air con in rooms, all inclusive (if you're on a tight budget you really wouldn't have to spend more when there), quiet at night, ergonomic building (fits into surroundings)
On the less than great side:
If you get a room facing the road in block A (rooms 1 to 13) you are right on a road with no view), food lacks a little finesse (but plenty of it), the beach gets a bit 'ropey' to the left and has some oil on it

Room Tip: Ask for sea facing view - avoid block 'A' road facing apartments
