Stayed here in August 2016 with my partner and we were part of a group of 8 who all booked separately. From the first contact I had with the hotel prior to arrival to the end of our stay the staff were fantastic. Prior to us all arriving, I contacted the hotel by email and asked for a table to be set for all of us rather than us being split around the dining area, this was responded to promptly and arranged without any issues. Fabulous. On arrival we were welcomed effervescently by Natasha who is a credit to the hotel, always on hand to offer tips, information etc. Our room was really spacious, were were in 108, on the first floor which had the standard Austrian Twin (really comfy) extra pillows given on request (always ask for these!). In our room we had en suite bathroom; shower, toilet and sinks, all in good working order. The bathroom also had its own hairdryer so don't bother packing one. We also had a small table with a bench seat and 1 chair, TV and plenty of plug sockets. The room also had an extra bit with a sofa, which appeared to double up as an extra bed and this led onto a balcony. The balcony overlooked the car park to the nearby cable car but also offered views of the mountain, and the town to the left. Every day our room was cleaned with beds made etc. Despite being beside the road to the cable car it was very quiet at night, no noise issues whatsoever. Meals in the hotel were excellent and consisted of 5 courses; salad buffet to start, then a pasta dish (which if I recall correctly were all veggie), soup, main course and then dessert. Evening meals were selected at breakfast and there was good variety to choose from. If like us on one day you didn't like the main on offer, you can request for something else, I opted for schnitzel (a winner for me) and this was sorted without any issues. At breakfast each day you were given a small plastic bag which housed a carton drink, then you're invited to prep your own lunch from the breakfast buffet supplies. No more sneaking food out of the breakfast buffet for lunch! Yay! The breakfast buffet was good, section of hot foods, like scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon, as well as hard boiled eggs, a wide variety of bread and rolls, cakes. Fresh fruit and a fresh fruit salad, yogurts, dried fruits, cereals, cheese and cold meats. As well as a variety of spreads, jams, etc. Definitely something for everyone. The lounge area and bar offered a place to kick back and rest with a beer or two after a long day of walking. The hotel has its own pool, steam and sauna with tea, coffee and water readily available when using these. Pool isn't huge but sufficient.
The location of the hotel is excellent, it's directly opposite the cable car in Neustift; Elfer Lift and its 4 minutes walk to the bus stop and about 7 into the small town itself.
The hotel supply you with a Stubai Super Card, which offers you free bus use, free use of each of the 4 cable cars in the valley daily and using all four in one day can be done without too much duress (Ok we did have to run for one bus in order to achieve all 4 in one day - the valley is huge!). In addition it offers you 1 run per week on the toboggan ride down the valley that is a must to do, and if gives you access to a local leisure park and large swimming pool for 3 hours a day. I'd definitely return to this hotel, it had everything I needed for a base for a walking holiday offering comfort and more.

Room Tip: Room 108 has extra space inside and a view of the mountain.

I was here at April and it was fabulous!!
The rooms are spacious and clean with big balconies.
The spa is great with free tea all day long.
For me, the best thing was the food at dinner...exactly like a good chef
restuatant, excellent desserts and service as well.
Was a great stay here, will be happy to come back.

Friendly greeting from the staff. Rooms were very comfortable with excellent shower pressure. The food was great, plenty of choice for all. The staff were all wonderful.
Well off the main road so very quiet. If we visit Neustift again we would definitely book here.

Had a fantastic week here on our first visit to Austria. The hotel is perfectly located directly opposite the Elfer lift and 2 minutes walk from the bus stop that serves the valley and gives access to the other valley lifts. The hotel is decorated in very traditional Austrian way, we had 2 adjoining rooms which were huge & immaculately clean & maintained. The staff were very friendly and efficient, always willing to offer advice on where to go & how to get there. Food was good, breakfast was typical continental selection & you were encouraged to take from this for a packed lunch, cartons of juice & bags provided. Evening meal was lovely, 5 smallish courses, superbly cooked & extremely well presented. There is a lovely indoor pool with doors that open out to the garden. Sauna & steam rooms that operated from 4pm-7pm when we were there. The only downside to the hotel was the smoking habits of the other guests. There was an afternoon cake buffet each day & we found it impossible to sit and enjoy a piece on the terrace for the chain smoking of the people around us. To enter the hotel we had to walk through a veil of smoke from the people congregated at the 'smokers pole' outside the front door, which also wafted up to our room balcony. We were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather when we were there but had to stifle in the hotel room or sleep in a haze of 2nd hand smoke blowing along the balcony from our chain smoking neighbours in the rooms along from us.
If there was a 4.5 option I would have given this for the hotel as it offered an exceptionally comfortable stay for us but the smoking issue means that I couldn't rate it 5! Personally I would have liked for the hotel to have no smoking on the balconies & away from public areas.

Great location for the Elfer gondala and the bus stop 2 minutes away, the bus which are frequent, serve the whole of the valley from the Glacier at end of the valley to Innsbruck with all village stops in between, the catering for my wife who has a food allergy was excellent, all the staff at the hotel from room service, evening meals & breakfast, bar & reception were very friendly & helpful.

Room Tip: View from room 105
