My partner and I spent two idyllic days at the LoBleu Hotel in January. It is a small family run hotel right on the beach front in the quaint little town on Terre de Haut about ten minutes walk from the harbour.

We were given a very friendly welcome by the owners, Stefan and Veronique, and shown to our room. We were very pleased that we had booked a room with a sea view right above the beach with a lovely balcony which was big enough to sit on and enjoy a lovely view of the bay. We loved watching the little boats bobbing around and the bigger cruise ships anchored offshore with their passengers coming ashore in small tenders. It was also fascinating watching the sea birds, including gulls, frigate birds and occasionally a pelican from our balcony. At night we left the french windows open and dispensed with the air-conditioning, enjoying the cooling sea breeze and the gentle lapping of the waves on the shore below.

Breakfast is a simple buffet served on the terrace. Later in the day planters' punch and cocktails are served here from the bar or you can just relax and read or take advantage of the free wifi. The beach is immediately outside and recliners and beach towels are provided. The sea is safe for all the family as it doesn't shelve steeply and whilst we were there there were only small waves and it was very sheltered.

Stefan and Veronique obviously love what they do and can advise on restaurants and places to visit along with arranging a golf cart for those who wish to explore further afield but find the heat is too exhausting for walking too far. (I actually walked a lot but my partner who is older than me restricted his walks to around the town.)

I could have stayed a whole week here as it was such a beautiful place where we felt completely safe and relaxed and Stefan and Veronique were such friendly and helpful hosts. Hopefully we'll return one day!

Room tip: Book early and request a room with a sea view and balcony. There are only two!

My husband and I stayed here for ten days in December. We had a sea view room and enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching sea birds, boats and lovely scenery. We loved this small hotel that sits right on the beach with walking access to all you need in the small town. Breakfast is in a covered open air sitting area. Great food to start the day and often we ended up just relaxing there for a while. Stefan (owner) has a great sense of humor and is always so personable as is his wife, Veronique. I like that this is a small hotel run (fabulously) by the owners. They both were helpful with restaurant recommendations, renting a golf cart and helping to book transport from the main airport to the island. The island is safe and the people helpful. Two grocery stores are a short walk from the hotel as is one of the best seafood restaurants on the island. The hotel is a short walk from the ferry that brings you to the island. The place was just what we wanted...relaxing, cozy island feel and a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a great time a LoBleu. Stephan and Veronique were super hosts. We had the family suite and felt right at home. The breakfast was a classic French continental blend of tropical fruits, good coffee, and French pastries. The location was perfect - easy walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and secret skateboarding spots. We will certainly be back.

What an amazing stay at Lobleu!
When you enter the main lobby, you already feel on vacation . Was there with my husband. Very last minute trip and could stay only for 1 night. Need to book in advance!
Les Saintes Terre de Haut is a great Island and staying at Lobleu makes it even more enjoyable. Great breakfast, good restaurant just around the corner., the rooms are very cutely made, no very big or too small, just what is needed. People are friendly and you can tell at the Hotel the owners enjoy managing the place, so friendly and helpful. We rented a golf cart to do the tour of the island, totally worth it!
I have been many times to les Saintes but next time will go back to Mobley and hopefully can book for at least 4-5 days! Many thanks to Lobleu for a

We loved our stay at Lobleu. Staff is very friendly and caring. Breakfasts are delicious especially the jams the fresh fruits daily. Beautiful and perfect location. We stayed there for 5 nights and really enjoyed every single moment there. no doubt the best hotel of the island as it is very central and well located from all the good restaurants to eat out. Highly recommended.
