“Home sweet home.......”
Reviewed 25 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

These cottages were like home from home for us. Nicely presented and fitted with good quality fixtures, fittings and furniture.

The cottages are set back from the road within the farm, so are very quiet indeed. The children enjoyed exploring the small stream that runs beside the cottages and the walk up over the small hill at the rear to the waterfall.

These cottages are ideally located for both the Cairngorm and Nevis mountain ranges and there associated ski resorts in winter and the respective national parks during the rest of the year.

Thanks Lucy for an enjoyable stay.

All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

“Allt Bronach. Remote, quiet and beautifull place.”

A warm place we could call home for two weeks waited for us when we arrived.
We met Lucy on the second or third day only as we were always on the road.
Both Lucy and her husband were very kind and helpful.

The house is very nice. Plenty of room for four people. (We were with three in the house)
A well equipped kitchen, good large dining room and a sitting room with TV.
The Wifi worked very well and was of good use to plan our holiday.

The location is very good, "far" from crowded places. There's plenty space around the house and the working farm is next door.

Very quiet, dark and silent during the night. (Not so common when you live near Antwerp)

You need a car as the cottage is located on some distance of the villages.
That was fine for us. It's easy to buy all you need in Newtonmore or Aviemore for several days.

We visited many places within two - three hours driving distance.
The Cairngorms National park is beautiful to visit. Beautifull walks and the view from the summit of Cairn Gorm was stunning.

It was our first visit to Scotland and we enjoyed every minute !
It's a beautiful place to stay and Allt Bronach was for us a very good starting point.

Thank you Lucy and we hope to come back one day.

“A memorable stay for our family of four”

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spacious, well appointed, clean and tidy — everything spick and span. A beautiful tranquil setting to unwind and enjoy one another's company.

The cottages are in a beautiful tranquil setting. Our hosts very kindly made time to show our daughter their lambs that had just been put out to field a few days ago.

There's a fantastic walk around the back of the cottages that takes you to a little waterfall halfway up the deceptively distant rolling hills. It's a beautiful spot to stop and breathe it all in.

We found that Laggan itself is a good place from which to explore the Cairngorms National Park and the various activities the region has to offer.

There's a nice little cafe-cum-pottery shop 5 minutes down the road. Can't remember what it's called unfortunately, but ask Lucy, she'll be able to tell you.

:-)
