We stayed here for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago to break up a 2 week holiday elsewhere along the coast. We had not been to the La Manga Strip but managed to get a decent last minute deal.
Location wise, it is quite low on the strip, the area feels quite run down with a real lack of places to eat (except for some decent seafront restaurants about 200 yards away - highly recommend Bonobo). The entrance is on a large open area of concrete opposite a SPAR, which seems to attract youths at night who make an awful lot of noise. We had a family room right above the entrance and could not get to sleep the first night due to the noise. We complained to the hotel who I believe told the youths to go away, so by about 1am it got quieter.
The mediterranean coast is about 5 mins walk across the road - highly recommend this -the beach wasnt mega crowded and the water was clean and safe - our kids had a lot of fun.
The hotel food is good with plenty of choice. Breakfast is plentiful and the evening buffet is nicely cooked, and reasonably priced.
The pool area is nice, but they did run out of towels on our second day (which is strange given there were only about 50 people using the pool), and they also decided to start testing the water and scrubbing a 'scum/suncream' line off the side of the pool whilst people were using it (not out of hours) which I did not think was appropriate.
Staff generally were friendly and welcoming.
Our room was great, clean and spacious, just in completely the wrong location for kids to get a good nights sleep.
It wasnt clear where the parking lot was when we first arrived (it is down the road just before the hotel, then left at the end and left again) so we did drive around a bit until I found a street space.
So - a bit of a mixed review. We had a good time here but felt a couple of things let the hotel down, which is a real shame. If you have young children - avoid 132 as it really is noisy at night.

Lovely hotel and good location. We were booked in for bed & breakfast but used the restaurant several times for lunch and dinner. All meals are buffet but are excellent value. There was no gluten free bread or cereals on offer that we could see so check in advance if you are coeliac. There was entertainment every night when we were there but the bar is very small with a limited range of drinks. Staff were very nice. Room was lovely and extremely clean.

Stayed here in September after escaping the Floods over on the mainland, and so glad we did.
Ignore the photos of the hotel, it has had a make over quite recently and is now immaculate. The rooms were very nice and modern, with brilliant bathroom with large walk in shower.
All the staff were very friendly and even though this hotel caters for mainly Spanish clients, we never had a problem.
Within the 10 mins walk of the hotel are about 9 -10 restaurants and few more bars, but we never ventured very far to be honest so there could be more. There is a cracking strip of bars and restaurants right on the Med beach over the road, which are all fantastic.
The hotel has a very nice pool with plenty of sunbeds and a hot tub.
In summary if you are looking for a karoke and raucous holiday then this is not for you, but then neither is La Manga. However if you want a really nice clean hotel with good facilities then I highly recommend it.

This hotel is better on the inside than out, it is quite beautiful and spotlessly clean, the staff work very hard. No one really speaks any other language than Spanish here though so communication can be a little difficult, I think maybe we have been very spoilt with regard to everywhere else we have been in that regard. We stayed for two nights as were in the area for a family party and were pleased with our accommodation, the surrounding area though is not as nice although a lovely beach across the road is a good point if your a beach lover. Further up the strip is much nicer. Breakfast was good a vast choice and replenished regularly, couldn't find a tea bag though ( as everything Spanish ) but did enjoy the food and OJ.
