Perfect lunch with Albariño wine. Oysters, padron peppers, sea bass, salad - All fresh and tasty. Very nice and friendly serwis :)

Chanced upon this restaurant and had a table upstairs. The food and service were excellent but the decor and seating rather basic. However we returned the following night and sat outside, again the food and service were very good but you are in the street with kids playing and cars passing close by. The prices were very reasonable and for a holiday meal we would recommend for the food !
On our second night in Cambados we checked TripAdvisor for recommendations. We went to #2 ((#1 was closed).
On arrival the place was pretty fool and we didn't want to side upstairs inside (television...). We found a place outside with two chairs next to the wall. Service was remarkably slow. I went inside to fetch some wine. No problem of course. Ever
We ordered clams and scallops, both were certainly good. Next we ordered small shrimps. These were very salty, quite a pity since the guys are so sweet naturally...
Staff is nice and friendly, but overall the place is a bit unorganized.
Always difficult based on expectations set based on previous reviews, but I rate this place as average...
We stopped over in Cambados while touring the western coastline of Spain. A fantastic little town with great atmosphere.
The A Fonte Do Vino is appropriately named since the owners also produce their own wines - which are fantastic.
I can definitely recommend the fresh sea food - you are spoiled for choice. If you enjoy oysters then that is a must - very reasonably priced.
