Just around the corner from shops, restaurants etc. but with a very friendly, handy cafe just below the apartment, and good supermarket about 7 minutes away by foot. The apartment, or penthouse, is reached by a stone staircase which could be a bit challenging to some, but after the first time we speeded up in anticipation of reaching the great apartment. The entrance was into a well equipped kitchen area, with Nespresso machine, with table and plenty of space and once you open the door to the terrace it is a joy. The bedroom/living room is also very well equipped with a very comfortable bed one end and a cosy living area. The antique furniture blended in very well with the old beams and general artisan flavour. The bathroom was modern with super shower. The terrace however, with views over the town, was the absolute winner, well furnished but as it is high up lots of seagulls overhead!

There is a useful bus stop at end of road which takes you to all the lovely coves/beaches, Calella Palafrugell, Llafranc etc. – all different but with good restaurants and only half-an-hour away. The main bus station takes you to Girona, a city not to be missed.
I fell in love with this property from the website and the arrival was not a disappointment in any way.
