I went with my family -5 adults 1 child- for a week (7th July - 14th July) we all loved every minute!
The rooms were clean and spacious, cleaned daily, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern.
The pool was lovely and had a nice little kiddies pool for my three year old niece with plenty of sun beds and an outside bar with tables and umbrellas, the outside bar was well kitted out with various drinks and cocktails (which suited me perfectly) and amazing varied snack menu. The bar staff were friendly, funny and very attentive, they were constantly keeping the place tidy.
The inside bar and lounge area is well air conditioned and spacious and right next to a games room and pool table.
There is entertainment activities throughout the day and a kids disco, organised by a girl called Anna who is crackers but amazing with kids, also there’s different acts and artists after the disco, ranging from singers to dancers to a magician.
The reception staff were also friendly and very helpful.
The area itself was perfect, a stone throw away from the beach, plenty of nice bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel, also it’s a short walk from the marina. There’s a lovely English bar a few mins walk up the promenade which I would highly recommend and if you walk a little further up there’s some back streets with some nice restaurants, would recommend bistro 51 (it’s a little pricier but so worth it)
Overall we had an excellent time and couldn’t be happier with our visit and are already looking to book again for next year.
I would like to thank all the staff for making our holiday as good as it was :) from the crammo family

Visited as a couple in our early 50s in July staying for 10 nights all inclusive. Lovely hotel which clearly thinks it should be a higher star rating and strives very hard to achieve this but overall 3 star plus is about right.

Over-riding impression is that all the staff really enjoy working here and get along. There is a lot of friendly banter between them and this makes for a great atmosphere for the guests. Everyone is polite and courteous and have a great sense of humour. Speak a little Spanish and they appreciate it. We always stated our room number in Spanish which they thought was great.

On arrival we were offered the obligatory upgrade but declined. We were in room 355 ( tres cinqo cinqo) and this faced onto the back of the hotel above the entrance but with a lovely view. The road outside is much quieter than we expected and we could sit on our balcony in peace and quiet.

The room was adequate and very clean. Strangely there is no wardrobe nor drawers which meant your clothes were either on full display or stayed in your case. Much of our room was taken up by a fully equipped kitchenette which we didn't need as All Inclusive and more storage would have been welcomed. A major downside is the bathroom door. It is frosted glass and when someone goes to the toilet during the night it illuminates the whole room and wakes everyone up.

The food was as good as we have had AI and there was always plenty to choose from albeit the desserts were somewhat limited. Meat and fish were cooked to order by the chef as were your eggs in the morning. The drinks were very good for AI with a good quality beer and many brands : Bicardi; Mailbu; Gordons; Baileys etc included.

The entertainment was very limited. The poor girl entertainer ( who's name I never got to know ) worked alone from 11.00 am to 11.00pm. She never lost her enthusiasm even when she only had two children for the mini disco. The acts brought in were mostly very average singers but the stand out acts were the duo ( The Mardy Johnny Depps - with a girl singer who looked and sang like Adele) and the Flamenco Troup.

The pool area lets the hotel down as it is far too small. Ironically there is no shortage of beds or parasols just a lack of space to put them. The beds are basic but we called down on our way to breakfast each morning at 8.00am and had no problem choosing our space. If you can't get a bed then the beach is a lovely alternative which we chose sometimes. Around the pool you can hire a towel for 5 euros deposit each payable at the reception.

The major positive is the location where you exit the pool area straight onto the very clean and very smart promenade and then the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants along the promenade. Turn left out of the hotel and you go toward the main part of the town and marina. Turn right and you come to a lovely riverside walk.

Positives: staff; location; free safe hire; food; cleanliness

Negatives: room layout ( especially bathroom door); pool area; entertainment

Room Tip: When you are offered your upgrade ask to see on the plan where your original room is as this may be more than suitable.

We’ve just returned home from this hotel , we travelled as a family of 5 adults , on arrival we were given a room that was so small although clean & modern & im not one to complain but we really couldn’t manage in the space , after speaking to reception they gave us a slightly bigger room the next morning , the lady on reception Alicia was extremely helpful in sorting this for us.

I feel the hotel in general was super clean , the staff were constantly cleaning all day , the room was cleaned & fresh towels every day .

The pool area I feel let’s the hotel down a little , it’s looking tired & in need of updating with old uncomfortable sunbeds. On thé plus side the beach is literally a stones throw out of the gate & the location to the resort is perfect .
One issue that we had was , me , husband & daughter along with a German man were in the lift when it got stuck , we shouted , banged & pressed the emergency button , 25 minutes later after beginning to panic & all very sweaty we finally dragged the doors open , a member of staff came over with some water & as you can imagine we were all very angry ; we informed reception but got no reaction other than “ oh I’ll let the manager know “ , nothing further was mentioned to us about this , we then had to used the stairs for the rest of the week which became tiring when we were in the 4th floor .
Overall perfect location & very clean and for what we paid it was ok , but avoid letting kids go in a lift by themselves !

After staying here last year for 7 nights the kids loved it so much we returned again this year for 14 nights. All the staff, (cleaning, bar, restaurant) are very welcoming, friendly & hard working. The hotel is always spotlessly clean. It's in the most perfect location right on the beach and 1 minute walk from the centre of Santa Eulalia. We used taxis & ferries to travel around Ibiza & Formentera but the buses are very cheap if you travel on a budget.
We stayed in the Suites which have large open balconies with stunning views of the sea, beach and pool area, they are worth paying the extra if you enjoy sea views and space.
We love the Orquidea hotel, staff, location and will be returning in the future.

Room Tip: the 5th floor rooms for views & the Suites for stunning sea views

Stayed here with my mum for a week (3-10 July). We stayed in a suite (room 508)right at the front of the hotel overlooking the beach...wow what a view! The suite was lovely, not overly big but enough space for the two of us.

Now for the negatives...the noise coming from the corridors and banging of doors was horrendous we felt like there was no sound proofing at all, every sound echoed and woke us up! It didn’t help that we had neighbours who decided to play loud music at 2.30am and then have a sing song at 5.30am again! Some people are so selfish but this was quickly dealt with by the hotel.

All in all this is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location and with a few minor adjustments could be perfect. I’ve heard it’s going to be under new management later this year so will be curious to see what improvements will be made. Santa Eulalia is a beautiful resort and we would definitely travel back.
