Great Hotel, great location. Went for a bit of golf and to watch the Motorcycle Racing up at Circuit Algarve, whilst the better half relaxed and got pampered. Great weather all week (not guaranteed I know) fantastic restaurants nearby to sample as well. Decent shopping centre up the road at Portimao (AQUA). We had a 5 day in stay in Pestana Alvor . Great location . We had a room on the top floor with sea view which was fantastic.
Specail thanks to Chef for making us vegetarian dishes as the buffet did not have much choice for Vegetarians.
Also thanks to Hardik (waiter) for looking after us.
The hotel needs to add exaust in the bathroom as there was none which made it very damp and smelly after a shower.
The afternoon snacks lacked vegetarian choices which was very disappointing.
We will come back to the area but not sure about the hotel.

Located On the beach, nice gardens.
However this is not a 5 star hotel. Staff does not care and has zero empathy for its customers. Cleaning is poor. Noisy and rowdy guests. Place is rented for parties and weddings…sleepless nights as loud music till late.

Great views and superb setting. Cannot be beaten around Alvor — we have tried all of the beach hotels over 40 years - this is the best!
Great buffet breakfast with Portuguese Champagne- poolside lunches- both to be recommended. Inside pool heated -large outdoor pool bracing! 50 yards from hotel to beach and boardwalk. Our Favourite!

Fabulous hotel from location to staff to quality of food to decor , rooms, pool, gym , service was top class. The seaview balcony rooms worth the extra. Going to sllep to the sound of waves crashing against the shore magical. Breakfast was a feast with musical accompaniment. A place to relax, feel special and have a wonderful holiday

We stayed in the hotel for 10 night. It’s a good hotel with great food but the kids pool area needs improvements. There are no umbrellas what so ever. The only provided umbrella are broken with no stand that means you have to dig in a ground to make sure it won’t blow away. This is kids pool area and all the families were struggling to keep their kids/babies protected from sun.
