We went in here at lunchtime because we saw a board outside advertising a lunch menu.
When we went in & got the menus, it was all dinner food, so we called over the waiter (looked like senior / boss) & asked is there a lunch menu. He said 'yes, it's on the board outside'...... noticing our surprise at that answer (I guess) he then listed everything that was on the board outside - but didn't seem too happy at all (maybe because the lunches were cheaper?). Obviously we couldn't remember everything he listed, so my husband went outside and took a photo of the board & brought it back to the table so we could read it.
We ordered a Tuna salad and a chicken salad (€9.80 each) and some bread.
The bread didn't come out with the salads so when we were half way through I called a younger waiter & asked for the bread, which he brought over - but no butter (which I had assumed wold come with it), so I called him back & asked for the butter & he seemed quite annoyed, but brought it quickly. When we got the bill, I realised the butter cost €1.60 for 2 small portions!
However, the salads were very good - really tasty and loads in it, and apart from the 2 grumpy waiters the service was quite good - and the last waiter was very smiley and friendly :-)
I'd definitely come back.

So rude and non cyclist friendly we didn't even stay to.eat. I will not be going back. Rare in portugal to see this. Poor..

We ate here twice during our stay , first night had the turbot for 2 which was tremendous, boned at your table , had sea bass the 2nd night which was also excellent, good selection of wines well priced , enjoyed both meals and would recommend

Delightful restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food and service are excellent. We have been coming here for some years and the standard never dips. Great to be back.

Prebooked a table for dinner the day before which was a good move as the restaurant was busy from when it opened and this was a Tuesday! They bring a plate of fresh fish (for display only) to choose fish of the day. If you want that option they come out with your fish and advise how much it will cost before they cook it. When we went they were looking to share one fish between two. We went for Red Snapper which came in at just under 40 Euros for the whole fish. It was superb! The waiter comes and removes the bone at the table and then serves. Comes with potatoes veg and salad all well cooked/presented. We had Champagne Sangria which was Ok (red berries made it look red and perhaps too sour?). We had Portuguese crème caramel and ice cream which were both good. Recommended if you like fresh fish superbly cooked and most of bones removed!
