We walked past many times but decided to try it on the next to last day of our holiday. The food and service was brilliant along with the prices.
We had the scrimp and rice and the Portuguese steak, which according to my wife was the best food of the two weeks.
The service was exceptional making the evening very special.
Should have come here sooner but definitely on our next visit.

Food was excellent and depending on what you order, prices very reasonable. Concentrate on chef’s specialities like black pork and rabbit - both very delicious. Owner was patient and helpful and never in a rush which meant you could relax and enjoy the meal at leisure. The expresso was smooth and lovely.
Will be returning at least once more to try the seafood before leaving Alvor.

mu husband was not mad about what he had but that is personal taste.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited , the Grilled back pork is one of the best things I have ever tasted. We go to Alvor most years and this is a must visit every time we come, a family run business with outstanding service and food, do yourself a favour and don’t miss out
