We were recommended that we might enjoy this vineyard by our B&B owner - after a quick email to Marta (who replied in flawless English), we pottered down the hill. Marta met us in the yard, and gave us a little tour of her farm, with the story as to how she began the farm, and then a relaxed (and generous!) tasting of all her wines. Whilst we were there, locals came to buy their table wine - always a good sign. We bought plenty to take home :)

We have visited the place four times and brought home their wines every time.
Their table wine La Rocca is a very well-tasting wine with full body and colour. The little more expensive Pie Di Colle can also be recommended as this is a bit more sophisticated than the La Rocca.
Also, their rose wine is actually quite refreshing and well tasting for a summer evening on the terrace or as a welcome/drink.
The hospitality you meet from the family when visiting their vineyard is simply second-to-none and the pricing on the wines makes it a must-do for us every time we are in Tuscany on vacation.
I wish their wines were available in shops in my home country Denmark........

I found this place on the internet before I left the UK and emailed them via their website to arrange a visit. I got a really quick response and, on the day of our free visit, walked down from our B&B. Marta showed us around the winery and gave a really interesting chat about the place and the wines, making it very personal and thoroughly enjoyable - Dad was in his tractor trimming the tops off the vines! .
This was our first visit to a winery and we were made very welcome. Marta makes four types wine (rose, white, Chianti red and Chianti reserve) and we had a taste of all except the white, as all those had been sold. Now, we aren't connoisseurs, but we really liked the wines that she'd made and bought a few bottles to take back. Really good prices and look forward to having a glass later! Many thanks Marta :)
