In the hotel we spent three nights and we greatly appreciated his location and the immediate surroundings. The hotel is built in the beautiful countryside of the Erzgebirge Mountains high above the valley outside of human settlements. It is perfect for guests who prefer a quiet and relaxing place, not a hilarious nightlife. Each day in the evening we sat on the terrace till late night with a bottle of a good wine and in the morning with a delicious breakfast in the morning sunshine. Just lovely relaxing ambience.
There is no elevator in the hotel, which was not a problem for us, but for elderly people with limited mobility, it might be. The room was spacious enough with the standard furniture, including a minibar. There is a nice indoor swimming pool in the hotel, with, however, only few chairs around and it was not enough place there where to sit and relax.
For guests with half board were prepared buffet style dinners. The food was not bad actually, but at the 4* hotel I would expect served dinner a la carte. Breakfast was rich and delicious.
