We stayed over for one night. A quiet country town. A pleasant hotel and staff very friendly. The room was a standard hotel room, very clean. Just what we expected. What we didn't expect was that they also run a great restaurant. A real surprise ! Worth a stay, if just for the restaurant. Food was very good indeed and they have their own wines. It had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were excellent. Do try if you stay. Breakfast was good and included in our rate. I'd recommend the hotel and definitely recommend the restaurant.

One night stay, reception staff very friendly and spoke English. The ambiance of the hotel is very relaxed and welcoming. Room was also clean and not small for sure with a good shower. The pillows were the worst part of the stay for me, but that is a personal thing - I like a firm pillow.

Breakfast

Seems there are lots of restaurants to eat in but also heard good reviews of the hotel fodder..

I will return for sure.

We stayed here by chance on Saturday the 7th January with our 2 young children. The hotel was very quiet that evening but an excellent welcome from the receptionist was a good start and gave us confidence. We stayed in a junior suite, room 19, which was excellent and newly refurbished. The design of the bathroom was particularly good and the convertible sofa bed the most comfortable I've ever tried.

We also ate in the restaurant on the other side of the cobbled street, it was quite formal and so we were concerned that our 4 year old and baby might cause other diners upset but the staff found us a little ante room where they could be noisier without a problem. The meal we had was outstanding, the most amazing venison dumpling was divine.

Unfortunately we had a long drive the following day and so had to leave at 6am, before breakfast was served.

The receptionist had worked at the hotel for 11 years and said that it was family owned by people who really cared about their guests experience, that came over very loud and clear in the way we were looked after.

Stayed for two nights for business. The owner pays attention to details and the room was very clean but too small. Did not have even a space to put my luggage so left it on the floor. The cleanless was very good and breakfast was ok. This is a good 3 star hotel.

Thank you for your good feedback. We have only two small rooms, so please take care not to book the smallest size next time! I will mark your record accordingly any way.
