Stayed here 43 years after our previous visit. Room was reasonable although the bathroom was rather small. However the restaurant was fantastic with the food being of the highest quality. Would definitely stay here again as long as it does not take 43 more years !!

It is always very nice to return to the Hotel du Moulin; the rooms are very comfortable and importantly the food is first class. Each evening we enjoyed a four course dinner with wine provided by Jean the chef who's menu selection is always varied and beautifully cooked. It is certainly very good value for money. Hope to visit again next year.

Room Tip: The quieter rooms are at the rear

We sought out a cheap hotel in the Malmedy area of the Ardennes as a base for filming a documentary on the Battle of the Bulge. This was it and what a find it was; slap bang in the centre of things, laden with history and the food - to die for! Jean is one of the 132 top Belgian chefs, which made the half board package tremendous value.
I will be back for a holiday in the Ardennes and will be staying in Hotel du Moulin!

The hotel is situated in a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside. We stayed with friends for a weekend, and took the half-board formula. Overall we found that it was good value for money and the food served at dinner was delicious, but I have rarely seen such an expensive - and complicated - wine list. Breakfast was good. The bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms are reasonably spacious and comfortable, but we were there in cold, damp autumn weather, and the heating was neither very efficient, nor switched on for quite long enough in the evening - shame. The roaring fire in the salon downstairs in the evening was very welcome. There is plenty to do in the area - excellent walking, and interesting museums if the weather is bad.

I stayed at this family-run Hotel for four nights last week; the room was large with a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom, however the high point was the four course gastronomic dinner each night, beautifully cooked and presented with accompanying red and white wine, there was not much room for breakfast the next day! The price for the stay was modest and provided very good value for money. I will definitely return.

Room Tip: It is quieter at the rear of the hotel.
