We spend three nights at Pension Sydler, 4 Adults and 3 teenage kids. We used one unit (same floor) that consist of three bedrooms (2 double rooms and one triple room), bathroom, separate WC and a huge, fully equip kitchen. It's walking distance from the centre of town and very close to Dachstein, where we went skiing. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning and nice sauna in the evening! The staff were very helpful and supportive when our son were injured during the skiing trip. He was taken to the hospital in Bad Ischl and went straight to theatre ....42 stiches in the leg. This still did not spoil our holiday and stay at Pension Sydler. We will for sure visit again!

We (my wife and myself) are regular guests. We are coming twice a year usually in May and than in September, for a week. The location is just a few steps from Bad Goisern centre. Also Bad Goisern is centrally located from the top spots of Salzkammergut: Hallstatt, Gosau, Bad Ischl, Sankt Wolfgang.
Salzburg is around 60km from Bad Goisern. Usually we rent a double room with a huge balcony overlooking the mountains, private bathroom and breakfast. We even have a fridge in our room. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast served each morning by the lady owner is fabulous. There is even a small swimming pool in the courtyard. The location is very quiet and Mrs Sydler (the lady owner) is the most kind, available and helpful person I ever met.
She speaks very good English and is always ready to help with useful info about the magical lakes, towns and mountains of Salzkammergut. In a few words: the best value for money in the region.

We stayed in this family pension last weekend of September 2012. The location is very good, just few minutes walk from the centre of a town. The town is a great starting point for hiking and climbing via ferrata.
We had the top floor, which consists of 2 double rooms, one triple room, bathroom, separate toilet and living room with kitchenette. The rooms vere basic but clean, towels were provided. Ideal for big group which takes the whole floor as the whole floor shares the bathroom and toilet. It is possible to order breakfast, we were asked at what time we would like to have it. I didn't have the breakfast but my friends did and said it was very good. Overall great value for money.
