We were looking for a place to stay in Hallstatt but everything was full, so we decided to stay in Agatha. Perfect decision. Hotel is lovely, room nice, quiet and clean. Staff very friendly and unbelievably helpfully. Great stay!

This is a typical Austrian hotel that sits in a quiet place in town. The room is huge with a lovely chapel just outside our window. The bathroom is also spacious with a bathtub. The bed is very comfortable and is one that gets me into deep sleep rapidly. The restaurant serves good meal and the duck speciality is my favorite. The host is very helpful and friendly. However, please note that the hotel is 13 km away from Hallstatt so you may have to drive a bit to get to your destination. Except for the distance to Hallstatt, this is an exceptionally good place to stay over.

The room I had was nor brilliant but the hotel is just great. The food in the restaurant is very very good. The hotel is okay and quit basic. The view is amazing and the staff is very helpful. The pool and the sauna is free of charge....

Stayed here because most other hotels were closed in the area owing to off season timing. Adequate hotel with satisfactory rooms. Location is not the best if you want to be in a village center. I walked to the village but it takes about an hour as there was nothing in the vicinity that was open. Location is OK for hiking and for Hallstatt visit. Restaurant had a reduced ordinary menu owing to off season as the restaurant was closed to the general public. Had the rest of my meals elsewhere. Breakfast was OK and plentiful buffet style.
Room rate for a solo traveler was a bit high. All in all, an average experience.

Recomended for active people. They had offers for those who love cycling and hiking.
A little bit crowded and noisy especially in weekends.
Very helpful staff, except the maidens who came in the morning to my friend's room when she was still inside.
Great views from rooms.
Very good location, close to lake Hallstatt.
Good food; recommend fish dishes.
Good value for money.
