Comfortable hotel bedroom with baconies.
Could be noisy as room was at the front right opposite the Casino.

Excellent breakfast, nice sitting outside watching the world go by.

Only reason not 5*'s as it was very hot weather and the bedrooms air conditioning could have been more efficient.

Stayed: July 2016, travelled with family

The hotel is opposite the casino and a few minutes stroll to the lake. The hotel is very clean and tidy, and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The check-in was efficient and the breakfast was plentiful with excellent choices. I recommend the omlette. The guest rooms are very spacious but the lack of facilities to make coffee/tea was noticeable. All in all, I was very comfortable and I'm looking forwarding to returning to this hotel in the next few months.

Very pleasant hotel, with friendly and helpful staff.

Clean rooms with plenty of light.

Breakfast was okay.

Parking is available behind the Hotel, with only a small Charge per day.

Would stay here again.

I made a horrible mistake when I was booking our trip and booked a hotel at the rest stop on the autobahn. What could have been a disaster was averted when we came into town and found the Casinohotel Velden.
While much more than I would usually pay the location of the hotel, the beauty of the town and the availability of the private beach made it completely worthwhile.
The staff is friendly, helpful and speak english. The rooms are huge by european standards. The breakfast is included and was more than the typical bread and juice with meats, cheeses and cereals abounding. Our room had a wonderful balcony overlooking the street and the lake.
The private beach has comfy chaise lounges, tables and a bar for drinks. We stayed on the beach until dusk and then again all morning before we left. We were invited to stay all day but we wanted to shower prior to driving to Innsbruck.
The hotel provides beach towels for the beach, going so far as recommending we take two, one to lay on and one to dry off with.
The lake is beautiful. Wonderful temperature for swimming both in the day and the early morning.
The location is close to everything in Velden. There are performers on the esplanade as well as families and crowds eating drinking and enjoying the stunning location.
I would definitely stay here again. In fact I am already dreaming of returning. What could have been a semi miserable night in a stunning location turned into one of the most memorable parts of our trip thanks to the Casinohotel Velden.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street/lake with a balcony.

Being every year in Velden goes hand in hand with staying in the Casinohotel. It is a stylish, well-run property completely centrally located. Their buffet breakfast does not leave any wish open and the terrace is just opposite of the Casino. They have a leather couch which is every time a favorite place.

Schinakel and American Bar (was nicely refurbished over the winter) are the places to go in the evening.

Room Tip: Go for indulgement and take a suite like 102, 202. Overlooking the cute Velden church the rooms are not at all noisy as they are facing east.
