We arrived in the late afternoon and were given the most expensive option; there was a clear guide to the prices of the different kinds of rooms available (but not as has been pointed out multi-lingual). Nonetheless it worked well for us as it was effectively a suite, large bedroom, large sitting room with sofa bed (we were three so one slept on that) 2 balconies and glass wall with view of Worthersee which was really lovely. It's at the quiet end of the town but still on the promenade. Breakfast a bit confusing you could have hot food but you had to ask for it (we deciphered the German sign with the help of a phrase book). Free parking. The staff were very nice indeed, especially the receptionists who didn't mind our feeble German and spoke English to us. Very positive memories of Velden; recommended.
