We stayed here 4 nights. Place was as expected when we booked thru Airbnb. Great view from the balcony, nice bedroom, big bathroom with big shower. We knew beaches were quite far, but we were organized to catch the bus (jetty @ 5’ walk). Perfect location to reach all corners of the island, as the jetty is a stop for all buses!!! Employees were super kind, and at the restaurant they did everything to accommodate my wife’s vegan diet!

Very closed to the harbour with no beach at walk distance, great view, nice food and personnel, rooms overall ok.
Main notes:
-strict rules and low flexibility (pool availability, pool bar opening hour 1h/day, timings to book and join dinner, no cups into the rooms, no towels for the beach!)
-No free Wi-Fi
-No Wi-Fi in Grand Bleu villas rooms at all
-I can understand we are on an Island and that Wi-Fi can be not stable, but, in my opinion is not acceptable paying 10€ for 1 device to access the net only in public spaces: we are in 2017 and for 150€/day this kind of service should be given for granted (as in all the rest of structures is)
-car really needed to explore from this location
-sea not very clean due to bay currents at this time

Wonderful place, very cosy and comfortable. Rooms next to the sea. Perfectly clean rooms. Good restaurant with a nice view. Tasty and large meals. Very kind stuff. Well organized hotel. A lot of green trees and grass around hotel.

The Colibri was our first stop when arriving in the Seychelles, and it couldn't have been better. The view from the room was stunning and all the amenities were in very good shape. We felt in a secluded paradise while having all the comfort needed. The restaurant served very good food and the best Vanilla Iced Tea we've ever had. The staff was very nice, very welcoming. Location was nice too, right by the jetty.
The water pressure wasn't the best but other than that, no complaint. If you want a nice sandy beach right by your doorstep, this is not the place for you. But Praslin is a small island and you can get to Côte d'Or or Anse Lazio in no time. Definitely worth staying there.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. (Originally suppose to stay for 6 but missed our connection)

- Beautiful views. Just stunning views from our room. We stayed in Kato (name of the room)
- infinity pool is spectacular. Wasn't crowded. We had the whole pool to ourselves for an entire day ! Also other very cute areas to sit and sunbathe.
- very convenient to travel to other islands as it is a quick walk to the jetty. There is a inner road that takes you to the jetty and bus stop. We were able to easily travel to La Digue from here and grab taxis and bus.
Take the bus ! Very cheap and easy, only 5 rupees. Taxis are expensive (even compared to NYC prices)
We didn't not rent a car.
-we did a tour of curieuse island w the hotel which included transfer boat to island. Lunch BBQ. Then snorkeling. Whole day was 2600 rupee for both of us. We enjoyed the day
- we paid about 200$/night. Only breakfast included. I think for the views etc it was a good deal.

- dinner wasn't that great at all. We only ate here once. 25 euro per person. We opted to take the bus down to cote de or. We loved El Goulue cafe! Very friendly and nice and delicious good. We also did try pirogue. Also nice and good food.
- room had this horribly itchy blanket. And beside that only provide a sheet. I expected a nicer bed. We never turned on the tv. Too busy looking out the window.
- internet was 10 euro. Only one device at a time. And this truly was slow if it worked and sometimes didn't work at all.
-we overwhelmingly got a penny pinching attitude from the establishment. Like they were trying to squeeze every last cent out of you.

Overall I would stay here again. Mainly for the amazing views.
Eat elsewhere.
Enjoy the pool and other little coves.
Pleasant overall experience
