I've been here before and it was lovely. However, I felt it important to put in a review about our latest visit. We went there, with advance reservations, for a Mother's Day lunch. After being taken to an outside table, it took 45 minutes to get anyone's attention, and that was only because I stopped a staff member to ask about service. The time to get our beverages was quite long and the wait for our lunch was exorbitant. One of our orders was a child's meal, which was described to us by the Supervisor, but when it was delivered, it was not what we were told. We asked about the discrepancy, and were told that's the way it is. There was no attempt by the wait staff to check with the Supervisor, nor to remedy the situation.
The weather that day was very windy and cold, and we had asked on three separate occasions if we could sit inside, and were told that the tables were reserved. We could understand that; however, two different parties of our same size had come outside (it was too cold for them, too), and they were seated inside. We didn't understand, nor were we told, why after sitting there for hours, we were not seated inside.
To top this all off, the staff, who are normally quite friendly, were very short and on the verge of being downright rude. The food was mediocre.
Our party was disappointed with the service. While we could chalk it up to the number of patrons in the place, there was really no excuse for the attitudes of the staff toward their customers. When asked at checkout how everything was, our reply was simply and kindly "not good." The lady behind the register did not even inquire as to the issue, but simply took the payment, and that was it.
Not a good day ... I will not, nor would I recommend to others that they, go to this establishment on a holiday in the future. Staff don't have experience or patience to handle a busy restaurant (and the place was NEVER fully booked, as there were a number of empty tables during our entire stay of over 3 hours).
