Nice small hotel that included a spacious room, had a nice view from the dining area where breakfast was included but disappointed that they offered only artificially flavored juice. The hotel had issues with its credit card terminal and had to use the terminal of the grocery store Accross the street to run the credit card transaction which led to an error made by the person running the transaction. After a few days dealing with the credit card and the booking site and the hotel- The owner stepped in to find somewhat of a resolution to the situation.

We needed a place to stay after touring the rainforest and be close to the ferry for a trip to Culebra Island. This was the perfect place. The staff were so nice and helpful. Thanks Ingrid! Loved the room. My kids liked having their own room and own beds. It was nice to hear the ocean waves outside the window crashing all night and hearing the frogs. Wish we could have had breakfast but to catch the ferry we had to leave before. A t.v. in each room was nice! Water pressure was okay and the water was hot for showers :) We tried the kiosks down the road but were turned off due to the crowds. It was a Sunday night and maybe weekends are not the best for tourists. We had a hard time getting close enough to see what each kiosk was selling and had to crowd watch every move. It was hot and not comfortable. After about 15 minutes, we decided to just drive down the road and look for something else. Unfortunately, traffic is so bad in that one way that we spent 45 minutes just sitting to wait for the cars to move in a straight line out of the lot. (we were in the line). I would walk over there if traffic is bad. Short walk. Heard the chickens and roosters but they didn't bother us.

We stayed the night before going to El Yunge. I was fortunate to pay for the 2 bedroom room that we was the room closet to the water with a balcony. Yes it is 10 yards(depending on tide but close) from the water. It was great hearing the water all night. The hotel was clean and I had no complaints. The hotel is located in a residential area with a convenient small market(7-11 type with beer) and church across the street, The hotel probably has 10 rooms. The breakfast was good. If you are looking for a Ritz Carlton this is not the place. The pool was a basic hotel pool. In Luquillo I do recommend the food shacks and it is a 15 minutes drive to El Yunge. If you are looking for a really beachfront hotel and nothing fancy this is the place. I would come back to it.

Room Tip: Ask for the two room suite closet to the water. Pay the upgrade for the balcony and sound it great.

We stayed one night at this hotel which is just by the ocean. It is as close to the ocean as you can get, with the waves sometimes crashing on to the walls of the hotel. The property is very well maintained and you can get some amazing views from up the roof top. They have ample parking on the opposite side of the road. It is about 15 minutes from the entrance of the El Yunque rain forest and about 5 minutes from the kiosks of the Luquillo beach. The hotel offers free wi-fi which works great in the lobby and the balcony upstairs. There is a swimming pool in the property which looked very clean although we did not have time to use it. The room and the bathroom were clean. Breakfast was included with our room rent. They serve hot, cooked to order breakfast (eggs, toast, pancakes) along with coffee, juice, and tea in the morning from 8:00 am. The ocean view from the breakfast area is quite nice.

Room Tip: The hotel does not have an elevator. You have to climb up couple flights of stairs to access the rooms on the second floor.

The room had a view of the pool and plenty of cross circulation without the AC. Staff was helpful and everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sshower had hot water with good pressure. A nice location from which to explore the eastern end of the island.
