Highly recommend staying at Taino Cove. Cozy little get away with the nicest sunsets on the Southern coast of Jamaica. Definitely a spot for a romantic get away, great food and warm loving hosts. Taino Cove is part of Jamaica's growing hub of Rasta Wellness and Spa centres, perfect for a couples retreat.

What a beautiful and relaxing place. The rooms are spacious and colorful. The owner is most gracious. All the staff are just wonderful and accommodating. The food is the best ever straight from the garden. I would definitely go there again

Room Tip: all the rooms seem to have a good view of the ocean

There is nowhere like Taino cove guesthouse ; firstly it's a magical play of light and colour, each room is differently sketched . The laid back feel , the peace , the back drop of the ocean sounds fill the air .
One feels as if you had come to visit a grand family home . There are no rules and truly no need to even lock your door. There is a sense of history and old world charm . You can engage with the staff eat and drink at your leisure, or simply retreat into your own world .
There is a lovely pool and beach access- the sea in treasure beach is not for the faint hearted and a great deal of respect is needed . There is a safe spot a short walk towards Jakes hotel , marked by white floats. If you are looking for peace and healing, youve have found it .
Miss Winnie is the owner and the creator , she is an entertainment on her own and I absolutely lost my heart to her and her guest house.
So much so I returned again in july.
The other amazing aspect was the "Rasta for wellness centre " which is so much more than just a spa in a hotel. Thandi Wise an exceptional woman , healer , educator and enlightened , She offers massage yoga and a range of treatments . As well as detox -vegan and raw food packages. That leave you feeling brilliant. Both Ladies offer great food, Miss Winnie and I ate the best lobster I have ever tasted .
Yes I lost my heart and I hope you will to .

The ambiance was true Jamaican. The colors and architecture was wonderfully festive and relaxing all at the same time. In very short order, we felt like we were visiting a friend. Visiting in off-season, we were able to connect with the local artisans in a very personal way and Miss Winnie's staff was wonderful. I highly recommend Taino Grove for a truly Jamaican experience!

Room Tip: Air conditioning was not available in every room. Make sure to request it if you need a/c.

One of the most beautiful places in the world, not only for the aesthetics, but because of its heart and soul. The art and colors and beautiful food and sound of the ocean and incredible sky all made for such a special experience. Everyone and mostly the host are kind and thoughtful, every day and in every way.
