Perfect place for me and my friends surrounded by nature. They exceed our expectations/ Thank you for the beautiful experience and we look forward to go back soon. George did everything possible to ensure we are all good on our first time trip on the boat and we learn a lot about wild life and fishing .Nice people , beautiful place. Thank you.

Room tip: cottage # 1, 2 got the best view of Elephant Lake

Spent 2 nights here to fish on Elephant Lake. Pretty Lake, Quiet not a lot of boat traffic. Cottage was well equipped and cozy. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Docks and swimming area were good, however the boat ramp was a bit uneven and tricky. Luckily it was a calm day.

Playground, shallow beach make this a family friendly location.
Will likely come back another year, lots more fish there.

We booked 3 cottages for our family reunion the long weekend of August 2017. The cottages are clean and completely furnished, except you must bring your sheets, blankets and towels (otherwise you must pay for them). There were a few things that didn't work in our cottage (oven and toaster) but because we had access to 2 other cottages, we made due but we should have reported them so that they could be fixed/changed for future guests. There is also a huge "common" building that you can reserve for private parties. We reserved it for the full day on Sunday and had our brunch and dinner there. It is fully equiped (except for fridge) so you can prepare your meals there. There is also a fire pit that you can reserve, which we did Sunday night. There is a nice playground for kids. The only downfall is that the beach is across the street but easy enough to get there. The beach is not huge but very nice and clean with lots of toys for the kids and beach chairs. We booked 4 cottages for our reunion next summer.

We booked the second last week in July from a web search. Never been to this location before.

Glad we did! Beautiful location over looking the lake. Nice housekeeping cottages. Well equipped.

Boats with motors for rent. Reasonsble rates. Good fishing.

The owners were fantastic and very helpful to ensure an enjoyable stay.

Great for kids. Nice clean beach
Just close enough to Bancroft if you need supplies.

Only negative is the size of the showers in the cottage. Very narrow. Impossilbe to bend over to wash your legs. If you drop the soap you need to step out of the shower to pick it up.

Otherwise worth the money!

I would rate a 4 out of five.

My wife and I decided to spend 10 days at the resort to go rockhounding in Bancroft area. The cottage was well located within multiple rock collecting sites. We found several specimens that were unique to the area. We plan on returning next year for 2 weeks.

Dana and Georges were wonderfull hosts. Available are boat rentals for fishing on Elephant and baptiste lake which are good for bass, muskie and perch. You can also fish of the dock and catch crappie, perch and bass. I caught 4 bass from the dock and they weighed in at about 3 pounds each. Had them on the bbq which each cottage has.

Bring along lots of peanuts for you will have regular chipmuck visitors!
