Description: Homemade is our speciality. Various cakes, tray bakes and delicious scones made daily, have them with jam and butter or lashings of fresh whipped cream. All our ingredients are locally sourced for our soups and sandwiches, also we keep a stock of gluten free bread. With the local butcher providing all our meat in particular for our amazing Hot Roast Rolls. The Local fish merchant supplies the smoked haddock for our ever popular Cullen Skink, the creamiest way to have Haddock. A warm welcome awaits you, along with many different teas all served in a pot and freshly ground coffee. Which we can serve with soya milk should that be your preference. We are just across the street from the railway station to the left and enroute to the harbour.

We stopped here for a quick cup of tea and a pastrie. The interior is quite cute. Friendly service as well. The pastries were delicious! Nice selection of tea as well (if you want more options).

If you want a recent place to eat very good value for money food in a nice cafe, which was particularly welcome as the other places in the town we looked at were quite expensive. The menu has fairly wide ranging with many hot and cold sandwiches as well as other food items.

We had lunch in there eating a salad, a soup and a toast
Good quality, but the service is not very kind and the place could be a bit cleaner.
Tables are a bit too close one to the other

We had smoked salmon, scrambled egg, toast and a pot of tea for just under £9 each. At first I thought what a price! and indeed when the food arrived it was not the biggest portion, however, it was very tasty and did fill us up! I was surprised that the salmon was cold and the scrambled egg was hot, but it worked for me. I also had a fruit scone with jam. The scone was served with two foil wrapped portions of butter and some jam, that looked as though it was scooped out of a jar. I have to say that I enjoyed it! As soon as the tea ran out, a free top up was offered. So all in all a nice cafe that lacked a little sparkle hence the four stars

We had soup/toasted sandwich - both were delicious and served quickly by two very friendly staff. We then went for the cheesecake - WOW it was fantastic.

Much respect to the staff having to deal with rude & idiotic tourists coming in. Highlight was an elderly lady telling a toddler to move their own chair so she could get past....
