Myself and my husband love Holmfirth and we had agreed to come back and have a couple night away without the baby. I found this place online and I am so happy I did. Anne the owner is wonderful! She is so welcoming and told us to treat the place like it was our own home.

She is set in a beautiful surrounding with stunning views and a lovely terrace of which we sat with a glass of wine in the evening.

Anne left us to enjoy our time and to come and go as we pleased whilst also being there for a natter when needed.

The room was superior and had the most comfortable bed. The guest house is literally a 2 minute drive into Holmfirth centre where we enjoyed a lovely meal and drinks out!

Breakfast was lovely. We got yoghurt and fresh fruit and cereal; followed by a cooked English breakfast of which again Anne was very accommodating to what you would like!

Anne has 2 lovely pooches and this just makes you feel more at home!

This really is a beautiful home run by a beautiful lady in just the best surroundings.

We would recommend over and over again and hope to return soon to maybe stay in one of her cottages.

Thank you Anne for a lovely night away

We stayed here as a family for the folk/Morris dancing weekend.
We (3 couples and our 3 respective dogs) could not have been made more welcome. What a beautiful, comfortable and well appointed house. We were so well looked after by Anne and the whole experience felt like a real treat. Comfortable and beautifully furnished rooms what a lovely breakfast. We had to tear ourselves away from the table to set off for home! Highly recommended.

Hi, we have been staying for a few days (as a touring group of actors) and love this place. The house is huge/and there is a self contained cottage too. Ann is lovely and goes out of her way to make you feel at home, and her two dogs are delightful company. I would highly reccomend this guesthouse for a stay, its location is just outside Holmfith which is a big tourist attraction town, being the location for "last of the summer wine". As long as you are ok with dogs, its 5*

Received a warm & friendly welcome. Anne is a wonderful host, a beautiful b&b stunning views, wonderful breakfast. Can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend .The bride and groom stayed in the annexe. The bride and bridesmaids stayed the night before the wedding, their stay was brilliant. We cannot find fault at all with this b&b and we would recommend it to anyone .

Could not have had a better welcome from Anne in her beautifully appointed Guest House and it's tranquil setting . The whole place was very tastefully decorated. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: All rooms looked charming. We had the top floor with original oak beams!
