Spent one night at this hotel. Its charming and has great views, but is extremely expensive during season, which makes it frankly a little disappointing. The views are spectacular, breakfast is good and service is friendly. All in all a good small hotel, but given August prices, I find it hard to rate it any better than average.....

Room Tip: Free wifi, but its so slooooooow.....

After visiting London, Paris and Barcelona we need some relaxing down time and this was perfect. Room # 3 was amazing. Big deck, incredible view, peaceful serenity. Food was great and the staff very friendly with lots of suggestions to tour the area.

We actually enjoyed the challenging walk up from the town as we felt we earned our dinner. Be sure to take an excursion to the caves and enjoy swimming in the clear water.

The seating is quite lovely and there's a beautiful view of the sea. Great atmosphere and relaxing. Although, outside seating is quite hot especially in the summer and the air conditioned inside seating is kind of uninteresting with not the best view (the window seating is OK). The food is not very memorable but fine. The Hake and the potatoes with it taste bland and nothing. I never usually add salt to dishes but this time I had to. Calamari appetizer is fine, but the highlight is honestly the sauce. Again, not super memorable. The tomatoes are very fresh and delicious and come with the bread before you order anything, quite nice. Quite expensive food as well especially considering the food is not great. Washrooms clean, service pretty good. Bottom line - it's an OK restaurant but the food is just not worth coming back for.

We enjoyed a great stay here. Hotel is perfectly situated for cliff top walks. Calm feeling in the hotel, driven by not many rooms there. Building is lovely and historical. Breakfast was big and typical for the area, which we enjoyed with fantastic views of the sea. Staff friendly. Dinner pretty expensive in the restaurant. Great place, for a 3 day stay, longer than that and you may get bored!

We stayed two nights at this boutique style hotel at the beginning of our ten day holiday in Catalonia.
The staff were very welcoming and arranged porterage of our luggage to our first floor room overlooking the sea.
The bedroom was spacious with plenty of light and decked out in the "New England" style.

Pre-dinner drinks could be taken in the restaurant or the conservatory with wonderful sea views. The menu was varied but some of the dishes were quite expensive.
The main advantage of the hotel is its position on a cliff top near a lighthouse with wonderful Mediterranean views.
We also visit the other group hotel Mas De Torrent in the pretty hamlet of Torrent which is about 15 minutes drive,
Coffee for 4 people was a reasonable 12 Euros

The hotel is quite a long walk from Llafranc and taxi fares in this region are expensive! Be warned - Hence a car is preferable for exploring the very picturesque countryside.

A 2 or 3 night stay may be ideal due to the quiet location.
