When I booked this hotel I had to use a credit card to reserve the room. I booked directly with the hotel and the website said no money would be taken and that full payment needed to be made on check in. This was also stated in the confirmation email. However when my boyfriend and I arrived the cost of the room had already been charged to my credit card which I didn't want to pay with, I wanted to pay with my local account. I was charged a fee beacuse of the hotel using my credit card. They told me they would refund the fee but after 3 1/2 weeks, 5 emails and 3 calls they have still not refunded me. They have ignored all my commnication.
Reception also tried to over charge us for the drinks we ordered.
I can't recommed this hotel based on the experince we had as a result of an error on the part of the hotel. I have been left with a very bad feeling and despite paying for a room upgrade, food and drink at the hotel we have been treated appaulingly. I'm disgusted with this hotel.More
