We stayed two nights, and enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The views down to the town and the sea are good, although the trade off is a walk up the hill back to the hotel if you go to the beach, or out to eat. The hotel serves reasonable food, described in the menu as “snacks”, but its is pretty good, and nice to sit on the terrace while eating.

We stayed at this Costa Brava hotel for a week in early September. On arrival we were greeted very warmly and made to feel very much at home. Its pretty laid back, and this suited us very well.
The key points for us were that our ground floor room was very good, there was a decent size pool to cool off in, breakfasts were very good, the snack menu let us choose something very light or something more substantial, not a full restaurant but great if after a day of sightseeing you just want to relax and not starve!
However what made it especially great were the staff - so helpful, friendly and just downright pleasant.
Llafranc isn't large, just a small bay with cliffs on each side and rising ground beyond. It has a good selection of restaurants, and the walks around the headlands give lovely views.

Superb hotel! Really relaxed atmosphere with wonderful views, comfortable rooms and great bathrooms.
All the staff were friendly and helpful but, in particular, Yolande was our star - great personality!

Room tip: All the rooms have a sea view but better from the 1st floor.

This relatively new hotel is nestled a few blocks up the hill in Llafranc, one of two adjacent towns on the Costa Braca (the other is Calella). Its location is perfect for going to both Llafranc (obviously closer) and Calella. It is both a romantic getaway and family oriented. Having stayed in almost every 4 star hotel in both towns (there are no five stars) for the last 12 years, this is far and above the best. It is a small family run establishment that has a very Provencal feel. Rooms are new with all modern facilities and SPECTACULAR views from pretty much every room. This past August was our third year there and every year it gets better, Breakfast which is included with your stay is lovely with lots of variety. The also have a light lunch and dinner available should you choose not to go into the town although we quite rankly have never done so as both towns have plenty of excellent restaurants. Staff accommodates all of your needs (they are also multilingual, unique in the area), and in a place (both towns) where parking is scarce, the hotel provides parking. For some the walk up the hill is too much and thus many (NOT us) actually drive back and forth to the town/beach. Absent a physical impediment this is absurd (have no idea where they park once In either town), but we saw quite often. Nonetheless, the location up the hill is what gives the place its spectacular unobstructed view of both the two and the sea. Price for accommodations and things like wine and beer (available until quite late in the evening) are a bargain. Can't rave enough about this place and will continue to return every year. Hope this review does not double the price for us next year!

Room tip: Second floor rooms naturally have better views but first floor rooms have sort of a lanai leading to the pool which is great for kids.
