So glad we booked this place, as I had anticipated it is far enough away from the maddening crowd. Whist Polignano was easilly accessed we were far enough away to enjoy the tranquility. Food is served (dinner) on site / and there is a walk-able restaurant nearby - but one needs a car anyway.
The host is very attentive and was very helpful in sorting out our itinaries. he was also keen to show us the developments for the new swimming pool - which will no doubt be wonderful.
The place is steeped in history & still has a chapel on site. Apparently it had been the home of the bishop till C 1870.
Our room was comfortable as indeed was the bed. B'fast is the usual italian cheese/meat & cakes. Cappuccino was available if requested.
Would we return ? Most definitely! We could spend a week soaking up the atmosphere & swimming in the lovely (to be ) pool.More
