To be honest, when asked for 4 eur at the ticket office, thought it was too expensive for a view! But it is totally worth it!

This is worth the few dollar charge. The view is beautiful, especially at sunset. You get a nice view of Skellig Islands.

When we arrived, it was foggy. But within 10 minutes, the fog went away and what a beautiful scenery. Just stunning.
Just wished there would have been more of a hiking path. Takes only about 15-20 min to walk from the parking lot to both sides of the cliffs. But we ended up spending nearly 1 hour as it was simply splendid.

We visited Portmagee to go to the Skellig Islands. Didn't even know that there are these magnificent cliffs. We drove there late in the afternoon and it was spectacular. If you don't want to do the Cliffs of Moher, this is a worthy alternative. As a bonus, take a drive up the hill past the entrance of the Kerry Cliffs, the view is worth it. Also, try and spot a Puffin.

“Go clockwise! That way you will not get stuck
Behind any tour buses!” So was the advice
Given on a YouTube video on The Ring of Kerry and Ring of Skellig, which we took and which we certainly didn’t regret. We thus came to
The Kerry Cliffs late in our drive and
After driving over a most Beautiful and harrowing mountain pass that was a single
Lane With multiple switchbacks. I knew it was steep When I had to downshift into first going
Around one of those Bends! It was just after this most crazy beautiful part of our drive that we came to the highly anticipated Kerry Cliffs. Now we haven’t gone to Mohr, but we did the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head Drive, and this equaled anything in Dingle, and certainly was the highlight of our ROK trip.

You park in an area with restrooms that were really appreciated (by me), and then hike up to a series of viewpoints, each more dramatic than the last, and once there had the most dramatic vistas of the Skelligs in the distance, and the crashing Atlantic below. This is a MUST DO trip if you are in the area.

Few people were there, there is a kiosk that sells cappuccino or hot chocolate on the hill, and the views are just stunning in every direction!
