This was my second B&B stay in Ireland, we arrived late, but were able to find the place thanks to their website and google maps. A very cozy home with a warm inviting atmosphere in a beautiful countryside location. The traditional irish breakfast was amazing!! Trish is a superb host! Checking out the farm animals was fun and while outside Buster the most loving dog ever will greet you. I would love to come again if I was in the area!

If your looking for your typical traditional Irish home, this B&B is a must visit. Amongst the most beautiful woodland setting, you will find the most friendly, amazing, family run B&B. Trish, Tony, family and ofcourse Buster the dog could not be more welcoming to their guests. You will enjoy the most amazing home made food while gazing upon the beautiful scenery Co.Clare has to offer. I stayed here for seven weeks having received a job at the end of the school term and could not have felt more welcomed and at home. I could not recommend it enough and will most definitely be back for another visit soon.

To start with, this is quite a tricky place to find if you miss the one sign post for it. However do not let that put you off as it's scenic views are fabulous
The only downside to being in the middle of nowhere is finding some place to have dinner. What I would say is make emailing advance and they will prepare you a fantastic home cooked dinner if the breakfast was anything to go by
You are warmly welcome as a member of the family and made to feel like you are sharing their home
The hospitality is fantastic and the children loved the farm animals so much so we checked the boot for any spare kittens and puppies that may have been stowed away
The breakfast was gorgeous, especially the homemade soda bread and they made sure the could cater for my child with multiple allergies.
The only downside was not all rooms have their own bathroom but that wasn't problematic for us
If you decide to stay here, you won't be disappointed

This was the third B&B that we stayed in during our trip to Ireland. We were "new" to the Bed and Breakfast arena and found that we really enjoyed the "personal touch" that comes with this type of lodging. We stayed 3 nights at Hillview House and found that it was star-rated appropriately. Located in an ABSOLUTELY gorgeous part of the country side, we could not believe the picturesque beauty that surrounded this property. ((Thankful for navigation and the coordinates.)) Just as we arrived, we were immediately welcomed and greeted by the owner and guided to an en-suite room that was clean and quaintly decorated. The home itself was also very clean and neatly kept. The “Traditional Irish Breakfast” breakfast menu was delicious and prepared very quickly and tastefully. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet the Hillview House family/children, the other guests and we liked seeing the farm animals (especially the INFAMOUS dog, BUSTER!) Our very favorite part of our stay at Hillview House was DEFINITELY the owner, Trish. What a hardworking, happy and kind woman! She definitely knows how to treat her guests and we were so very impressed with her entrepreneurial spirit and professionalism. Keep up the AMAZING job Trish!

Room Tip: Choose the room with en-suite

We stayed there one night, very relaxing and quiet countryside, clean bedrooms and bathroom, Nice lady invited us with cup of coffee on arriving . Buster the dog was top attraction , we've got more than expected for reasonable price.

Room Tip: there are pet friendly rooms if you travel with your dog
