we booked three rooms here recently and the first thing we noticed was the very personalized service from the staff. we were all called by name each time we encountered anyone working the desk bar etc. It was helpful that 3 of them were all named constanine but they were great with reservations and travel tips. the hotel only has 14 rooms and is right one street level so there were no long trips down step stairs to get to our rooms or the pool. it goes without saying that each of therooms had a beautiful views. Imerovigli is a lot less busy that oia or fira so I felt this was a plus as well. the hotel restaurant had delicious food for such a small hotel and our dinner here was among the best we had on the island. Parking was a bit tricky but found this to be the case over the whole island. there are limited restaurants in imerovigli but fira is only a 20 min walk from the front of the hotel.

Our suite had a lovely view of the Caldera and every sunset. I believe all of the suites in this small hotel do. The staff were very solicitous and helpful, and stayed on top of all transfer scheduling. The bell staff handled substantial bags and many steep steps gracefully and efficiently. We ate dinner at the hotel only once; otherwise we hiked down to Fira and back -- quite a workout! Breakfast was delivered to our suite, including an early breakfast the day we left. Very nice hotel.

Me and my husband decided to stay here for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. We were given a very warm welcome with 2 glasses of fizz and were offered a free bottle of wine to celebrate.

Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. We had our own large balcony with private pool which was nice and warm. The views were absolutely stunning, watching the sunset on our balcony was amazing.

Imerovigli is quite a small town/village but it still has a few restaurant options making this an ideal place for people who are wanting a quiet break. It is around a 30 minute walk into Fira which we would definitely recommend if you want more choice of restaurants/shops etc. The walk also has some amazing views.

Breakfast is served to your room each morning and it is divine!! The pastries, pancakes and greek pie are a must! Our room was serviced every day and whenever we left for dinner room service would make our beds and leave fresh water and cookies which was a nice touch.

All of the staff are lovely and very helpful, we would definitely stay again!!

We are from Ireland and spent a week in this boutique Hotel. The place is beautiful the staff are so friendly and helpful I would highly recommend it.
They even upgraded us to grand suite which had our own private heated pool outside and jacuzzi inside, room beautiful. Views from balcony spectacular.
We will be back .
Thank you Gold suites

We are currently coming to the end a a weeks stay in Gold Suites and couldn’t be happier with the hotel. Imerovigli is a great option on Santorini, close enough to walk to the restaurants in Fira but away from the cruise ship day trippers. All the rooms in this small boutique hotel have fantastic views over the caldera, with patios on which to relax and watch the sunset. We have a superior suite (number 3) which is very private with a jacuzzi and a superb aspect over the caldera to Oia. There is not much sun on this balcony, but that is not a problem as there is plenty of space around the pool for sunbathing with the same views. The food at the hotel is very good and we had breakfast served to us on our balcony each morning and watched the sunset with cocktails and dinner in the poolside restaurant. The staff have been very helpful and unfailingly friendly throughout. There are many other similar style hotels clinging to this beautiful clifftop but I can’t recommend this one highly enough.

As a side observation this is early in the season in Santorini and much less crowded than the mayhem you see in the height of summer. The weather, though not sweltering is still very warm and is a good time of year to enjoy this beautiful island.

The walk from Imerovigli to Oia along the edge of the crater is a must, but bear in mind it is a proper 2-3 hour walk in some challenging terrain, so prepare for it properly, but it is well worth the effort. Particularly if, like us you get the bus back after a long, well earned lunch.
