Beautiful villa situated at the countryside. Great for those looking for a serene place to relax away from the hustle & bustle of the city. Location is rather far from Ubud central, but free transport & food delivery are available, which are convenient. Lovely interior design, has a nice "zen" feel to it. Very friendly & helpful staff. It's a shame that my bathroom water heater is not working well, otherwise it would have been perfect.

I stayed at Villa Areklo for 3 nights with my girlfriend and it was definitely a highlight of the trip. These villas are located approximately 10 minutes outside of the city, and this is what makes it special. It is very peaceful and so easy to forget everything as you lounge on the couches, swim in the spring-fed mineral water pool, or lie on the sun chairs overlooking rice paddies. Transport is arranged free of charge to drop off and pickup anywhere in Ubud, anytime. If it is too busy (and you feel comfortable) they will lend you a motorbike free of charge to use. Breakfasts are provided (all-you-can-eat), excellent food and drink and it is whenever you wakeup, so no pressure to get up early. Andre has wonderful suggestions of where to go and goes out of his way to make your trip special. As well, the tours offered through this hotel is cheaper than any of the others in the city. There is no reason to stay anywhere else. If you want to relax and "get away from it all", this is the place.

We stayed for 4 nights family of 4 and had the most enjoyable stay. This is such a fun and friendly place. Andre and family are very relaxed and we where made to feel like we where at home. We met some wonderful people also staying there and the staff where very accommodating. Drop of and pick up into Ubud ran like clock work. This is not for those looking
for 5 star but if you want to see, meet and feel the real Bali this is a great place to do it from. I loved the decor simple but very tasteful and using all local products and artwork. The spring fed pool is an added bonus, with minimum chlorine used the water is like silk. We would highly recommend this Villa and have already done so to friends.

We had a most enjoyable stay. Staff very helpful & courteous , owner lives on site, he is also very helpful & knows the area well. My only gripe is " no hot water". The location is about 10 mins from central Ubud but shuttle service runs anytime between 9am to 9pm

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Areklo. The owner was incredibly helpful, and gave us a fantastic program for our stay. I had a wonderful day trip with Wira, the head driver for the hotel. I spoke with other travelers staying at the hotel, and all seemed to be very happy with the tours provided by the hotel. The breakfast was very good, and our room was perfect. I stayed at many places over the years coming to Bali, and it is always nice to have fresh, clean sheets. The place had a really cool vibe for me. If I had to describe the place, I would say it had an upscale backpackers vibe, but 4 star standards. I would highly recommend this hotel.
