We have stayed at this b&b twice and will be a third time this may.
The first time we had a triple room and the second a double. Rooms are excellant and very clean and tidy.
A very welcoming and friendly b&b that i have recommended to friends and can not wait to return in May.
Breakfast is amazing and the couple are very helpful and friendly.
Great value for money.

Room Tip: You will be happy with any room you choose

Brilliant! We stayed there on our honeymoon, great room, great service, great people. Also, the ride to the airport couldn't have been easier. 10% discount at the local curry house was much appreciated for our evening meal. Would recommend it to anybody!

We stayed here for a couple of nights over the weekend of our wedding anniversary in August 2011 and were touched to find an anniversary card in our room from the proprietors. It's in a great location; close enough to Birmingham for it to be accessible to the city but far enough away for it to be quiet and relaxing. Coleshill is a nice little town, while Springfield is a really nice looking property in a good location.

We stayed in their luxury room which is tucked away around the side of the property with its own entrance. This gave it an air of solitude and privacy which we loved. The decor of the room was fabulous and spacious; we loved the design of the bathroom sink! Cleanliness was 100%. The full English breakfast was well-cooked and plentiful while the proprietor was attentive to our needs. He was also extremely helpful on our arrival with regards to local attractions and eateries. There is also free Wi-Fi and parking, which all adds to a very pleasant stay.

A small observation-NOT a complaint-is that there seemed to be a family room above the room we stayed in and as such we did experience a lot of noise and vibration from a small child running up and down above our heads for quite a time during the evening while we were watching tv. We appreciate that it's an old building with old floorboards and thankfully the parent/s of the child did get them into bed at a fairly reasonable time; however it could be intrusive if there was a family in there with a more relaxed attitude to parenting!

But this in now way detracts from what a wonderful stay we had there-it IS only an observation-and we will definitely be booking there the next time we visit Birmingham.

Room Tip: Being beneath the family room may not suit everyone if very young children are booked in.

This was our third visit to Birmingham for the caravan show, and after two disappointing stays in other guest houses, it was refreshing to find Springfield Guest house, clean and friendly, Louise and John made us very welcome, and pointed us in the direction of local eating places, NEC was only about 5 minutes away. We look forward to our next visit in 2012
