This is a quite semi-isolated hotel, high on a hill side north of Erice. It is a low rise development with two storey rooms in separate buildings from the restaurant. It has large airy and clean rooms. There is a number of open air swimming pools of various sizes. A good place to have a relaxing break during a visit to Sicily. The views over the valleys are fantastic. And there is also a good view up to the hill top town Erice above. The food in the restaurant is good. The showers and beds were fine, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi was very slow.

The Parco degli Aromi is set just outside of Valderice on the hillside. It has a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff are very friendly and more than happy to help with you every need. The rooms are modern and spacious. There is a good spa in the grouds along with a swimming pool and hot tub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A new hotel in a nice quiet environment with a beautiful view at the sea and at the horizon Monte Cofano. From this place we went on daytrips to Erice, Trapani, San Vito La Capo/Zingaro and Segesta and all is within comfortable traveling range with your car.

Me and 2 friends stayed at the Parco Degli Aromi in late september and we had the most amazing time. The staff are very helpful, especially Elisabetta at reception who made numerous calls on our behalf to find out bus timetables and cab fares as we did get a ripped off on a taxi on the way from the airport. The property is beautiful and set in the most amazing landscape overlooking the ocean which is a lovely sight to wake up to.
We received excellent service from all the staff we encountered, and a special mention to Francesco who gave us a lift down to the shops as it was late and we were on foot and was always helpful and smiling when we saw him around the hotel.
It is safe to say that you really should have a car or transport of some sort when staying here as it is quite a long, winding and steep route up if you're walking (and not very safe at night due to wild dogs in the area).
We managed to wake up late for breakfast one day (just after 10am) and the kitchen staff were lovely and still brought us out some juice, croissants, cakes, coffee etc which was very much appreciated. I also realised I had forgotten to bring the adaptor for my phone charger and I walked down to the reception where they quickly found one I could use for my stay.
The room was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay it has a lovely clean shower, and the fold out bed was quite comfortable. Our room was set at the top overlooking the pool and it was a gorgeous view. It can get quite windy up there, and the pool was too cold to use in september but we did sit and put our feet in for a little while one evening as we really wanted to make use of it.
There is a supermarket not far from the bottom of the mountain where the hotel is situated where you can get all your essentials and food and drinks to keep in your room for a very reasonable price. We also walked down to the sports bar not far from the shops and had some lovely cold drinks as it was warmer down there.
The beach is about an hours ride away on the bus and its a cheap fare so we went down and had a day sunbathing on the nice sandy beach, the water is warm and clean. There is a market here where you can get some nice little souvenirs but you can haggle here as they do hike up the prices a bit.
One of my friends did speak fluent Italian so we didnt have any problems, but it's probably handy to learn some phrases to get you through your stay as a lot of the locals don't speak any english.
All in all the hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful and smiley, its a lovely place to visit and we hope to go back again very soon.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the rooms above the pool area, the view is amazing from there.

Imagine, waking up in the morning and being totally amazed at the beautiful and incredible view which you can take in from your bed and then being pampered by a wonderful breakfast after which you can easily go to any of the wonderful places which make up the Trapani province.
That is Parco degli Aromi, in Valderice.

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel with a beautiful pool area overlooking the gulf to the west of Monte Cofano. Most rooms (ours had) enjoy the view over the Monte Cofano gulf. But this hotel is not only about the view. The staff is great, the pool area super relaxing, the breakfast room was very nicely set up and the breakfast fare itself was really nicely.

The hotel is situated just beneath Erice, literally, and one could also consider going to Erice by the funivia (cable car). The ride up is breathtaking.

The room itself was very nicely furnished, always extremely clean and very cosy. The bathroom was adequately-sized and well-supplied with toiletries. The shower had a very strong flow of deliciously hot water.

We arrived at the hotel on the 14th August, 2012 and we were pleasantly surprised to note that the Hotel organised a Ferragosto dinner for its guests (supplement) and the guests were invited to celebrate Ferragosto (which is a very special holiday in Italy) with Italians in the same way as Italians do. These are the touches which make a hotel look even more special. We did accept the invitation and the evening was not only lovely but magical.

I cannot stop singing the praises of this hotel. It must have one of the most beautiful jacuzzi areas in the Mediterranean.

Also, hats up to the front lady at reception on the 14th August, 2012 (afternoon). She spoke perfect English - even though I offered to speak Italian. She told me, no, English is your second language, so we should speak your language. I speak Italian very fuently, but I appreciated this extremely courteous touch.

Do not look anywhere else to stay in in Valderice, Erice or Trapani area. This is THE hotel to stay in. Loved it. We'll certainly be back and, frankly, we can't wait.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view. You might have to pay slightly more but you will not regret it.
