Description: Since our opening on May 2, 2013, our policy was to serve freshly cooked, authentic Indian food to all our customers. However we have come to a point that we felt that there is a need for more diversity on the island, so we have decided from April 2018 to introduce Persian cuisine alongside our Indian as both share similar culture in food as well as other things and many Indian dishes are influenced by the Persian such as Naan, Kebabs as well as others. This will give our guests a unique opportunity to experience two of the most ancient as well as exotic flavors at the same table.

The food here wouldn't be out of place in a Manchester Indian (which is praise!) - and the service was more pleasant and welcoming than in many curry houses I've been to. Decor pleasant and place not crowded - even at 8 on a Saturday night. All your favourites on the menu and they ask how hot you want the dish (on a scale of 1-10!). Good wine (if slightly expensive for Rhodes - they don't seem to do a house wine.) However, whole meal was inexpensive and filled our need for a weekly curry.

On 10 October 2017 we visited for the Persian food night.
Did not know what to expect as never had Persian food before.
It was qute a large menue so choosing took a little time.
Both our choices were excellent & good value € 13 each.
We didnt see much of George the owner as he was busy cooking.

After 10 days of same food fancied a bit of spice!! Goggled for an Indian and this restaurant came up was not disappointed!!
One of the best chicken tikka masala I have ever had me and partner both enjoyed!!
Would recommend this restaurant if you fancy a curry while in Rhodes

We came here as it was the top Indian restaurant on trip advisor.
Restaurant is quick cheaply laid out....staff were lovely though.
We chose a mixed kebab starter and prawn pakora. We saw the pricing so it was our choice but these alone were approx 15 euros each!
The mains were. Healer than the starters but I didn't enjoy starter at all.
It cost 85 Euro for 2 starters and mains and 1 naan.
For the price I expected much more

The amount of food served is small and is rated on a scale of how spicy you like it from the owner. My wife only likes korma which is a very mild dish, but when it arrived the taste was revolting, not in how spicy it was but in actual taste. My chicken balti was acceptable but small. The plain naan`s were also small.
The owner needs to visit the UK to see how Indian food should be served and taste!
We had two poppadoms again small, and some green goo to dip in, no other dips, chutney or mint etc.
What they need to do to avoid reviews like this is serve a small sample of the dish and if you do not like it adjust the taste .In fact my wife had one taste and left the korma, the owner never asked how things were, good job really as i would have told him face to face rather than on here.
As others have pointed out the prices are very high for what you get
A rubbish korma and my balti for £35.00! This did include a small bottle of water and a 1/2 pint of beer.
